CNN Anchor Richard Quest Charged With Drug Possession

CNN must not pay very well. Wouldn’t you think a CNN anchor could afford some better drugs than meth? Richard Quest, a business travel specialist and anchor for the international cable network, was arrested Friday in Central Park for violating the park curfew and possession of methamphetamine.
The arresting officer originally approached Quest simple because he was loitering afer park hours. Then, following standard procedure he searched the news jock and found a plastic baggie of meth in his jacket pocket. Quest’s attorney said, “Mr. Quest did not realize that the park had a curfew, and was returning to his hotel with friends.”
What a moron. Every celebrity knows you send your unfamous lackey-friends on your middle of the night drug runs in Cental Park. After 12 hours in custody Quest received a slap on the wrist of six months of counseling in exchange for a judge’s promise to drop the charge if the therapy is successful. Since when do reporters get diplomatic immunity?
