Video: 10 Year-Old Guitar Player Jams With OzzyPosted on: August 26, 2010 | Comments Off
Is this the coolest kid ever or what?
Ten year old Japanese guitar prodigy Yuto Miyazawa recently joined The Prince of Darkness on stage to rock out on the classic “Crazy Train”.
Yuto joined Ozzy Osbourne on the singer’s six-date summer Ozzfest tour, performing the classic “Crazy Train” alongside Ozzy and his band. Blabbermouth tracked down footage from thefootage from the August 21 show in Hartford, Connecticut, where Miyazawa did an awe-inspiring Randy Rhoads impression: He wailed on the same black-with-white polka-dotted flying-V guitar Rhoads was known to use – and Ozzy even hoisted the young guitarist into the air (around the three-minute mark) to replicate the cover of the song’s 1987 live single. Miyazawa met Osbourne after performing “Crazy Train” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May 2009, when Osbourne emerged from backstage to shake his hand, totally stunning Miyazawa. The prodigy returned to DeGeneres’s show in May 2010 with his power trio to perform Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”
I love this freakin’ kid. He is ten years old, self-taught and has his own “power trio”!

Fox Gives The Osbournes A Variety ShowPosted on: July 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
The big wigs at Fox have greenlighted a new throwback family variety show a’la Sonny and Cher/Donny and Marie for America’s favorite non-American family; The Osbournes. “The plan is to blend musical perfs by the Osbournes and others with comedy sketches as well as gameshow, audience participation and out-of-studio taped elements. One idea being kicked around is for a segment dubbed “The Osbournes Meet the Osbournes,” in which Ozzy and Co. spend time with another Osbourne clan, Darnell said.” While I’m sure it will be entertaining, I’m not sure if the average American family is ready to watch (or be able to even comprehend what the hell Ozzy is saying) The Osbourne family feign regularity.
