Natasha Richardson’s has died and her family has issued the following statement.

“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

We are almost at the end of this unbelievably sad story.

TMZ reports that Natasha Richardson’s family have taken her off life support as of 1:30pm today.

Fox News says that although Natasha Richardson is still technically alive, she is brain dead and is being flown back to New York before the family takes her off life support.

Sad, tragic, unexpected news for the Neeson-Richardson family. Natasha was skiing on a beginner slope when she lost it and tumbled all the way the down the slope causing the horrible injury.

Time Out New York is reporting that Natasha Richardson has died from her head injuring from skiing as reported earlier. TONY is also reporting that although the confirmation has not been announced, the family has been told.

The major news outlets haven’t picked up on this yet, so I’m hoping this is some misinformation.

If this information is correct, Natasha is survived by her husband, actor Liam Neeson, and two adolescent sons, as well as mother Vanessa Redgrave and her sister Joely Richardson.

Natasha Richardson Critically Injured In Ski Accident

Sad news, actress Natasha Richardson suffered a severe brain injury while skiing yesterday. Natasha was skiing a beginners slope on Mont Tremblant in Canada when she fell and tumbled all the way down.

She is currently being treated in a Montreal hospital. Natasha is married to hottie Liam Neeson and they have two kids. Liam was filming in Toronto and reportedly rushed to be by his wife’s side after the accident.
