It’s little things like this that make my day a bit brighter. The New York Post reported today that when Hannah Montanan herself walked into a Pop  Burger on East 58th Street in New York City last week no one recognized her. After placing her order the counter manager asked Miley Cyrus for her name to mark the order, much to her displeasure.

“Are you serious? You don’t recognize me? I’m Miley Cyrus,” she snapped at the manager a PageSix spy dishes.

The counterman still had no clue who she was, ran her credit card with her name on it, and shrugged.

“That’s nice for you. Here is your order. Have a good day,” he added.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I love New York City.

Ugh…teenagers are soooo stupid. Not only do they take inappropriate and scantily dressed pictures of themselves and send them via email, cell phone and post them on Facebook/MySpace…..they think they are smart enough to handle their multi-million dollar careers on their own.

At least Miley Cyrus does. Hannah Montana is in discussions with her attorney about filing a Petition of Emancipation form after fighting with her parents about her boyfriend. Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus do not approve of Miley’s relationship with 20 year-old underwear model Justin Gaston. You gotta give Baby Cyrus props for having the balls to defy her parents in such epic proportions…most of us just go live with our dads when our moms piss us off. Then come back when our dads piss us off.

Billy Ray and Miley have been fighting like cats and dogs over this boy and she is sure that she is mature enough to handle her life on her own.

“Although she’s only 16, she has been forced to mature much more quickly than most girls her age. She is dating a 20-year-old and is already a superstar, so she thinks it’s high time she started living like an adult. And although she loves her parents, she no longer wants to be treated like a child.”

The internet was blowing up with the news that Disney star (and daughter of Billy Ray Cirus) Miley Cirus was pregnant this morning.Before you get all upset and think the Disney channell hires nothing but bad girls, the rumor that the 15 year old Hannah Montana star was knocked up was debunked by the same website that started the rumor.

“Despite Internet rumors, J-14 NEVER reported that Miley Cyrus is pregnant. Someone doctored the “This Just In” article that appeared on page 16 of J-14’s July 2007 issue, where a few of Miley’s Hannah Montana co-stars talked about her gross habits. Miley is an intelligent, respectable role model for young girls, and we at J-14 pride ourselves on presenting our readers with credible stories and information. This story is completely fabricated!”

I bet the Disney execs are breathing a huge sigh of relief after this one. This coming so soon after Vanessa Hudgens nude pictures would have been a disaster for Disney.
