Brain Grazer {had to} swoop in to save the Oscars after original producer Brett Ratner left the show after it was reported that he made a gay slur at a screening of his film “Tower Heist.” A day after Ratner left his hand-chosen host, “Heist” star Eddie Murphy, bowed out as well, leading Ratner to tap beloved veteran host Billy Crystal for another go-round at the Kodak Theater.

There is also the matter of another change to her body that she’s trying to undo; in what is such a universal problem, the Armani Jeans girl says that she got too skinny on her altered diet.

“For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee,” Fox revealed. But I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything. I train three times a week doing circuit training with my trainer Harvey Pasternak.”

Michael Bay has revealed for the first time that he was told to get rid of the actress, by movie mogul Steven Spielberg. Bay said in a press interview: ‘You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, fire her right now.’

Spielberg is executive producer of the film which stars Shia LaBeouf.

Megan’s response? ‘Whatever. I look bangin’ in a bikini.’

The film, which co-stars Mickey Rourke as a burnt out trumpet player who rescues and somehow romances Fox from Bill Murray’s sleazy gangster, is set to be released to home theaters everywhere on May 31st.

It’s little surprise that the movie, despite a seemingly strong cast, finds itself without theater play; it already failed on the big screen. Playing at the Toronto Film Festival in September, the film bombed, with terrible reviews and viewers openly mocking it as it played — that is, before they walked out.

Mickey Rourke says we shouldn’t blame Megan for the crappy movie…he says she’s actually a good actress. I know..I was as shocked as you are.

“I think the pleasant surprise was this girl who’s a world-class beauty turned out to be probably the best young actress I’ve ever worked with,” Rourke said. “I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented, but she really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing.”

The tattoo on her shoulder blade reads, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies” and down her side is the Nietzsche quote (in honor of Mickey Rourke) that says “Those who danced were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

I actually really love that Nietzsche quote. I’m not into that kind of heavy reading but this quote has popped up again and again in my life over the years. It’s quite beautiful and touching. You have to wonder what kind of impression Mickey Rourke had on her to prompt her to get this wordy tattoo for him.

Not even on Christmas vacation does this chick gain a pound and there is no sign anywhere of that holiday carb bloat. Hate her.
