Natasha died in a scalding bath at their £625,000 penthouse flat in St John’s Wood, North London, in January after a marathon drug session. An inquest in Westminster heard the couple had spent two days partying, drinking heavily and snorting cocaine before Natasha woke in the middle of the night to take a bath. She left a hot tap running and died of horrendous burns while Speight slept.

Even though Speight was not charged in Natasha’s death, he admitted to the police that they had been partying and had taken large amounts of “cocaine and sleeping pills as well as drinking wine and vodka.”  Speight’s family says that her death left him a “fragile state”.

The cause of death for Mark Speight has not yet been determined but police have stated that he was not killed by a train. His body was found in a remote area of Paddington Rail Station.
