Kat Von D announced on Twitter over the weekend that she and Deadmau5 have broken up and she has moved on. He’s just the latest in celebrity romances that haven’t worked out for her. Maybe she needs to find a nice, normal UNKNOWN tattoo guy that doesn’t cheat or love Hitler so she can live happily ever after.

Word on the street is that she caught this one cheating.

The creative couple pulled the plug on their brief relationship over the weekend, announcing their split on Twitter and adding in their own choice commentary on the matter.

“Man … can’t say I didn’t give it my best,” Von D wrote Saturday, followed shortly afterward with: “Man I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off #lessonlearned.”

Just in case her followers still didn’t get her drift, however, the 30-year-old tattoo artist spelled it out in plain terms.

“Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together,” she tweeted.

Von D and the DJ, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, reportedly began dating in September after meeting at a party.

“Now, we can get all of the ‘I told you so’s’ out of the way … and move on,” she quipped. “Going to spend a little while screwing my head back on,” he wrote. “I guess im not cut out for relationships right now. and that’s all i really want to dwell on it right now.”

I love it. I love her. Other than the dark period that Kat was shacking up with the Nazi Jessie James…I am always rooting for this chick to find true love. Her romances always seem to burn bright and fast and then before I know it, she is dating a DJ that wears mouse ears.

His dorky stage presence aside, this guy seems to be really into Kat right now. He just posted 43 pictures of himself and his new girl on his Facebook page along with the message: ‘Yeah, im love… inb4 I find a f*** to give over the Internet implodes over it at least I’m happy! Lol’

Police officers rushed to Kat Von D‘s L.A. home Monday night — even dispatching a HELICOPTER to search her neighborhood — after she received an extremely unsettling phone call … TMZ has learned.

Kat — believing the caller was on her property and fearing for her safety — called police around 10:45pm … and officers rolled up soon after in full force, sirens blaring.

Police spoke to Kat and took an annoying persons report — yeah, those exist — and that was that. The LAPD is currently investigating.

How do I know the exact number of times Vanilla Gorilla cheated on Kat Von D? She posted it on her Facebook page…high school style.

She actually tried to pretend that this was a deep and spiritual way for her to let go of her Jesse James demons, but we all know she just wanted to tell the world he is a big fat cheat face. It also sounds like she is saying she got in to the relationship to change him…and it blew up in her face.

Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year.
I kept going back and forth in my mind as to what the best way would be for me to release and let go of any residual feelings remaining from that toxic relationship. All of this may sound petty or immature to some, but I assure you this is coming from a place of pure honesty and love.
There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people’s ability to change for the better. Although this was not a primary purpose in the relationship, I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible – even in the people who seem hopeless.
I still believe that, even if that change never occurs inside of him – because I see proof of change everyday – in others, and in myself. I’m far from perfect, but am willing to examine myself, and my patterns of dysfunction, and then put in the work to better myself. It’s a daily practice, but it’s working.

TLC pulled the plug on Kat Van D’s LA Ink. Then she broke up, again, with Jesse James. But don’t count her out just yet. Her reality career is over but she has managed to find a way to make lemonade.

It appears Kat Von D is putting her breakup with Jesse James to some good use – she’s channeling her man angst into music. According to E! Online, the “LA Ink” star is in the midst of cutting her first album. “I’ve been passionate about music all my life,” Kat told E!. “I’ve been playing classical piano since I was six. So I understand the form, but it will be fun to be able to translate a message.” And what will Kat’s music sound like? The reality star, who names Depeche Mode and The Cure as some of her favorites, said her sound will have be “more on the dark, more tragically romantic” side.

I imagine a Mazzy Star like vibe, what do you think? It will be interesting to see if she, like many before her, can turn a reality career into something more.
