The fashion industry is losing their frickin’ mind. Just over the past two weeks I’ve read scathing blog posts about Heidi Klum and Karolina Kurkova being too fat to walk the runway anymore.

Granted, Karolina may have put on a few pounds but these two chicks are by no stretch of the imagination fat.

Good for you Karolina for strutting, back fat and all!

This is pure insanity, kids. The Brazlian media is blasting one of the highest paid supermodels in the world for being “fat”.  Mostly famous for her work with Victoria’s Secret, Karolina was attacked for what critics called “back fat, love handles and cellulite” when she walked the runway in a bikini at the Cia Maritima show during Sao Paula Fashion Week.

An article in a Brazilian paper about the leggy 5’11″ Kurkova described how “shocked” the audience was when she appeared looking uncharacteristically chubby with “cellulite on her butt.”

Maybe this is the beginning of a fashion industry revolution! Maybe Karolina will lead the revolt against starving yourself for fashion and change the acceptance level of body diversity to include women of all sizes. Viva le Revolucion!
