I don’t want to compare Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to John Lennon and Yoko Ono because…well…that would just be blasphemous. But they seem to be headed down that same ‘we are one and inseparable’ thing that John and Yoko insisted on for a while before Yoko drove John completely nuts.

Kanye West has pulled out of tonight’s MTV VMA show because his girl can’t come. Kim is going to be working promoting her new perfume at Fashion’s Night Out in New York and I guess since she can’t come stand by her man at the VMA’s Kanye just said F-it.

To be fair..he wasn’t scheduled to perform and lots of people like me could really care less. It’s just funny that he is so K-whipped already.

The Gold Digger rapper, 35, cancelled his appearance after deciding he didn’t want to attend tonight’s ceremony in Los Angeles without his girlfriend Kim Kardashian by his side.  The reality star, 31, had a prior engagement at Fashion’s Night Out in New York, where she will be promoting her True Reflection perfume at Lord & Taylor. A source tells Mail Online: ‘Kim’s in New York for her fragrance launch and Kanye didn’t want to go to the VMAs if she couldn’t be there.’ Kayne’s song Mercy featuring Pusha T, Big Sean & 2 Chainz is up for Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Editing. He was not scheduled to perform.

So this picture popped up on Twitter last night and the story then was that Kanye West tweeted this nude picture of his lov-ah Kim Kardashian.

Kris Jenner did her thing and had TMZ post this about it this morning:

A picture of a naked woman scarfing down a meal and looking suspiciously like Kim Kardashian was posted on Twitter last night … and word circulated Kanye West was the one who originally tweeted it.

We’ve done our due diligence, and here’s what we found.  First, the woman in the pic appears to be porn star Amia Miley. Miley tweeted the same photo of herself on her twitter account in 2011, and she tells us it’s her. She also says she’s never hooked up with Kanye.

Second, although the pic has been sent around with credit to Kanye, we’ve learned it was never posted on Kanye’s account. A source close to Kanye confirms … he didn’t do it. We’re told it’s all part of #WanksterWednesday — a prank day where people try to get bogus rumors started.

In all likeliness it’s not Kim K. But since she is someone who makes a living have sex on camera and selling it, I can’t believe anyone is surprised that we might believe it for a minute.

So instead of confirming that they are dating, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are doing what a Kardashian does best. Totally trying to use every opportunity for media attention. After having dinner Saturday night at the very hot Spice Market in New York’s Meatpacking district, Kim was spotted Sunday with this little gold/diamond brands in her ear.

It seems a little junior-high to me….The Daily Mail describes it like this:

The 31-year-old who is always heavily trailed by photographers wore her hair swept up to reveal the earrings with Kanye’s ‘K W’ initials – and her feelings about her new beau.

It seemed rather juvenile – and a slightly more expensive way of writing a boy’s initials on your hand in pen and flashing it at your friends in a fit of giggles. And a little sinister – as the earrings, no doubt a gift from the multimillionaire rapper – seemed to smack of marking his turf.

This story blew up yesterday and it was so fun to watch. Now that the smoke has cleared, here’s what we’ve pieced together.

Remember that even before Kim Kardashian fake-married Kris Humphries, it was always rumored that she was hooking up with Kanye West. He pretty much confirmed it in his new song Theraflu that dropped yesterday.

“And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / Around the time she had fell in love with him / Well that’s cool, baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team”.
Kanye’s BFF Jay-Z is a part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, which Kris plays for. What a huge threat!
While we’re sure Kim is humbled that Kanye wrote a song about her, it comes at an inconvenient time: she’s about to be tangled in a legal battle with Kris over their divorce, and this kind of publicity is not good for her. Furthermore, it seems to confirm reports that she was allegedly having an affair with Kanye DURING her marriage.

Add this to the whirlwind two days Kim and Kanye have had including going to see The Hunger Games together (which I can pretty much guarantee no grown man is going to unless there is a big booty pay off at the end of the night) and she was photographed doing the walk of shame leaving his house the next morning.

Thursday morning, TMZ.com published photos of Kardashian “leaving from the building where Kanye lives … wearing the same clothes she rocked to the movies last night.” Kardashian is scheduled to host NBC’s “Today” show Friday morning.

All of this begs the question, why didn’t Kim just fake-marry Kanye instead of all the drama and possible loss of her money to Kris Humphries? Because as annoying as he is…Kanye West ain’t stupid.

Not only did he dodge a Kardashian wedding bullet, he kept his money safe and now he gets to pick up the pieces of a rebounding Kardashian. Evil genius? Maybe.
