The worst cheating husband…ever…is getting his comeuppance. By now you all know that John Edwards cheated on his cancer-striken wife Elizabeth and fathered a child with Rielle Hunter. He’s admitted to it all but now the fall-out from his triflin’ may be sending him to prison.

Not only that, The National Enquirer says his estranged wife Elizabeth will help send the former presidential candidate to jail! Hell hath no fury, right?

Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter. The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent.

“John is terrified that he’s going to be indicted,” a friend told The ENQUIRER. “While he believes he’s done nothing illegal in trying to hide his extramarital affair with Rielle and their daughter, he thinks the Feds are going to make an example of him.”

A former aide to the sleazy – cheatin John Edwards is blowing the whistle on a sex tape he accidentally stumbled across while in the middle of covering up for his boss. This story is so twisted it must be real.

Former Edwards aide Andrew Young says the ex-senator and his former mistress, Rielle Hunter, once made a sex tape, according to someone who has seen Young’s book proposal.

St. Martins Press just inked a deal with Young, who also says in his proposal that, contrary to his public statement last year, he is not the father of Hunter’s infant daughter — Edwards is. Edwards has denied that.

Young says that his belief in Edwards ran so deep that he agreed to take the fall for the candidate, inviting the pregnant Hunter to live with him, his wife, Cheri, and their three children. Later, after Hunter delivered the baby, Young and his family moved to a different home in California.

While he was unpacking, Young discovered a videocassette, according to the book pitch. Hunter had been hired by the Edwards campaign to videotape the candidate’s movements, but this one is said to have shown him taking positions that weren’t on his official platform.

So where’s the tape? Hopefully Elizabeth Edwards can get her hands on and take him down. Politicians are waay sleazier than celebrities.

John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret child around 3:00am Tuesday morning.  It’s been alleged that Sen. Edwards was carrying on with Rielle Hunter before, but could never be proven. As Sen. Edwards wife continues to battle cancer, he continues to have a relationship with the blonde divorcee and the child he fathered with her.

The married ex-Senator from North Carolina met with his mistress, blonde divorcée Rielle Hunter, at the Beverly Hilton on Monday night, July 21 – and the NATIONAL ENQUIRER was there! He didn’t leave until early the next morning.

A months-long NATIONAL ENQUIRER investigation had yielded information that Rielle and Edwards, 54, had arranged to secretly meet and for the ex-senator to spend some time with both his mistress and the love child who he refuses to publicly acknowledge as his own.

This just proves my point that although it’s our civic duty to vote, we are really only ever choosing the lesser of two evil men. Or a Hilary Clinton.
