Jerry Seinfeld Replacing Conan O’Brien?

Conan O’Brien’s ratings have sliped so much in recent months that NBC is reportedly looking for a replacement. The network executives have begun informal talks to find a new late night funny man for the time slot and some media outlets are reporting that Jerry Seinfeld is top of the list.

A source says, “NBC just can’t carry on like this. ‘The Tonight Show’ has lost 52 percent of its viewership in just one year. The November ratings will be the show’s lowest in 15 years. They would be idiots to not be having the replacement conversation.”

Jerry’s been living the semi-quiet life for so long now, it’s probably going to take a big pay day to get him back on a daily show. Conan’s people deny all of this of course.

Video: Seinfeld Reunion On ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’

Seinfeld fans rejoice! The entire gang is headed back together for a sure to be hilarious reunion on Larry David’s HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The storyline which will kick in with the third episode of the season. Larry’s manager (Jeff Garlin) tries to convince him organize a reunion. Larry, of course, resists the idea — until “he figures out a compelling personal reason to do so.”

Curb Your Enthusiasm premieres this Sunday, Sept. 20. The Seinfeld Reunion airs Oct. 4.

Jerry Seinfeld Coming Back To NBC

Jerry Seinfeld is coming back to NBC soon, but this time instead of a show about nothing, he’s gonna be keepin’ it real…reality show style. I got excited when I first read about this. I pictured cameras following Jerry and his family around NY. Who wouldn’t want to see how the Seinfeld’s parent and really live? But then I read this:

The comedian’s project is tentatively called “The Marriage Ref” and features celebrities, comedians and athletes who will judge couples in the midst of marital disputes while recommending various strategies to resolve their problems.

I don’t know. Sounds lame…but I bet when he pitched Seinfeld they all thought it would boring too.

Madonna and A-Rod Hook Up at Jerry Seinfeld’s House

How in the hell did Jerry Seinfeld get in the middle of the whole Madonna/ Alex Rodriguez scandal? What kind of crazy world do we live in when straight arrow Jerry Seinfeld and ultra edgy Madonna are good friends? Maybe it’s their strong Jewish faith that bonds them together. Whatever the reason, they are close enough that Jerry is comfortable letting Madge use his house in the Hampton’s for a booty call with A-Rod.

The funnyman made his Hamptons house available to them for a quick rendezvous recently, says the New York Post. Madge-Rod both got picked up by helicopters in NYC and then by the Seinfelds in the East End. The Yankee and Madonna spent four hours at Jerry’s place then schlepped back to the city.

Jerry Seinfeld Coming Back To TV

Jerry Seinfeld is in talks for a new television show that is being pitched as “just like Curb Your Enthusiasm, but with Jerry, instead of Larry.”

The series, which is aiming for a June premiere, will be set in New York and will feature Jerry Seinfeld playing himself in an exaggerated reality. The whole thing is a bit confusing for us — if Larry David in Curb was what would have happened had Seinfeld been called Costanza, what happens when Seinfeld goes Curb?

Yeah, figure that one out.
