Gerard Butler is lean and mean and now in my top five. He was boozy and paunchy a few months ago..but just like most men…when he decided to get fit …he got FIT.

Sure..he looks a bit McConaughey-ish with the curly locks…but give him a short, sexy cut and …I can’t go on. Must go update my Freebie Top Five before I forget. It would suck if I ran into Gerry soon and I hadn’t updated my freakin list.

Gerard Butler is becoming the real life Nick from Picture Perfect. What? You don’t remember that lame Jennifer Aniston movie? It’s the one where Jen’s character has to pretend to be engaged to get a promotion at work.

Jennifer Aniston used Gerry to get over bad press about John Mayer and now he’s ho’d himself out to Jessica Biel.

Justin Timberlake is groping Mila Kunis and doing promo work with his ex Cameron Diaz every where you look now so Jessica decided she needed to do a little ego boostin’ by setting up some paparazzi shots of her and Gerry riding his bike.

But then the very next day Gerard was in Hawaii doing this…so I have a feeling there is nothing going on here.

Gerard Butler has been working on his New York Chelsea district apartment for the past four years. And the results of his (or whomever he paid) efforts will be highlighted in Architectural Digest’s May issue.

The actor and heartthrob said he knew his 3,300-square-foot, two-story loft in New York’s Chelsea district was going to need a lot of work.

“I wanted something elegant and gorgeous and at the same time rather masculine and raw,” Butler said. “I guess I would describe the apartment as bohemian old-world rustic chateau with a taste of baroque.”

The magazine will feature photos of his pad, which is still not yet complete, as well as his decorating inspirations. Film designer Elvis Restaino, who helped bring Butler’s complex vision to life, said “We re-created things that came into Gerry’s life – from his travels in Europe or even from an old coffee shop in New York.”

Butler’s apartment – furnished with 13-foot-tall mahogany doors, crystal chandeliers and limestone lions – is a place “to retreat and spend time on my own,” he said. “New York is such a frenetic, crazy city, so I love to use the place for just some peace and quiet.”

Am I mistaken or was his not-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston recently featured in the same mag?

The hair. The legs. The tan. The chin.

Jennifer Aniston looks fab as usual at the London gala premiere of Bounty Hunter. I can count on my hands the number of  movies I’ve liked that Jen has made, but I’m actually excited to see this one. I think pairing these two together was brilliant. The chemistry between them just jumps out of the pictures and knocks you on your butt.

Maybe they could be the newer, sexier, funnier Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.

Celebrity coupling rumors are true about 50% of the time, made up for publicity 40% of the time and the other 10% is just bored tabloids needing a headline. I’m hoping the newest gossip about Gerard Butler hooking up with Reese Witherspoon are true.

Reese deserves a manly man after two years of beard-work with Jake Gyllenhaal and it wouldn’t hurt Gerry to settle down for a minute.
