Gary Coleman – Celebrity Death # 3 This WeekPosted on: May 29, 2010 | Comments Off
It always happens in threes. First Paul Gray, bassist for Slipknot died of an overdose. Then Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead, possibly by accidental prescription drug overdose and today the world lost child star / grown up mess Gary Coleman. Gary Coleman, the child star of the smash 1970s TV sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” whose later career was marred by medical and legal problems, has died after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42. Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank said life support was terminated and Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. MDT. Coleman, with his sparkling eyes and perfect comic timing, became a star after “Diff’rent Strokes” debuted in 1978. He played the younger brother in a pair of African-American siblings adopted by a wealthy white man. RIP Gary.
Gary Coleman Arrested For Domestic ViolencePosted on: January 25, 2010 | Comments Off
So far 2010 hasn’t been a good year for Gary Coleman. The “Diff’rent Strokes” actor was arrested in Sanatquin, Utah Sunday on a domestic violence warrant from a prior incident. Cops wouldn’t release the name of the victim and at time of this story he was still being held onĀ $ 1725 bail. Ain’t that a bip? Once a child star on top of the world, now getting beat by your wife, having seizures and rotting in jail for a measly $1800.
Gary Coleman Runs Over A Man At A Bowling AlleyPosted on: September 8, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Could his life be any more sad? Gary Coleman is a washed up child-star, broke, married to a woman who won’t sleep with him and to make matters worse he hit a man with his car at a bowling alley this weekend. Both sides have very different stories and not surprisingly the police say that alcohol was most likely involved. Coleman’s bodyguard told KABC that 24-year-old Colt Rushton approached Gary and his wife late Friday night at a Payson, Utah 10-pin and asked to snap a cell phone photo of the “Diff’rent Strokes” star. After Gary said no, Rushton continued to harass Gary — and was eventually hit by Gary’s truck after darting behind it while Coleman was leaving at around midnight. Rushton’s more violent side of the story goes like this: He says Gary’s wife snatched his cell phone from him, and Coleman threw several punches at him before getting behind the wheel. Colt said he was trying to get his cell phone back when Gary threw his truck into gear and backed into him, knocking him to the ground. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Who could resist giving Gary Coleman some crap about his life? And on the other hand you can’t blame a dude with little man sydrome for trying to run over a jerk is his big manly truck. I think you should call is even guys.
