Dr. Dre’s 20 year-old son Andre was found dead by his mother at his home in Woodland Hills, California Saturday morning. When Andre Young’s mother couldn’t wake him up, she called paramedics. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Andre “had been out with friends” the previous night and returned home around 5:30 a.m. The coroners says foul play is not suspected, so that leads me to believe it was an accidental overdose.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son,” his rep Lori Earl says in a statement. “Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”
