David Lee Roth got pulled over in Ontario this week for speeding and it saved his life. Van Halen’s cheesy front man has an allergy to nuts and was driving erratically because he was in anaphylactic shock after coming in contact with a nut contaminated substance. I’m sure there’s a joke in there somewhere, but I’m hesitant to make fun to mock someone who nearly died.

The two Canadian officers that called the ambulance and kept Dave calm until the paramedics got there didn’t realize they were saving the life of an American rockstar…they just thought he was a random freak with a peanut allergy.

“At the time I wasn’t star struck, I was just trying to help him. The guy stuck out like a sore thumb. He was wearing a little silk scarf and flashy clothing - it’s not something you see in Oakland too often.”
