Whitney Houston’s Voice Cracks At Central Park Comeback

I am not now, nor have I ever been a Whitney Houston fan. But since so many of you seem to really want to see the former-crack-is-whack-head do good…I thought I’d share this funny video of what should have been her may-jor comeback concert in Central Park this week.

When Whit missed the high notes she blamed her cracked voice on a taping she did Monday for ‘Oprah.’ “When I’m talking, I should be singing,” she told the audience. Her four-song set will air Wednesday in the 8 a.m. hour on ‘Good Morning America.’

Whitney Houston’s new song “Like I Never Left” was leaked over the weekend. This is Whitney’s first foray back in the biz since her ‘crack is whack’ days and her subsequent divorce from Bobby Brown. In fact, her last release was a Christmas single back in 2003.

Whitney’s new joint “Like I Never Left” is a love song featuring Akon, but at one point in the tune she coos, “Yes, your girl is back.” Maybe the title has a double meaning for homegirl. Her much anticipated album will be released later this fall.

The word on the street is that Whitney Houston may have had a specific reason for filing for divorce from husband, Bobby Brown. According to the rumors, Whitney had been seeing a nationally renowned minister for counseling for her addiction issues and the professional counseling quickly turned into a â€œclose private relationshipâ€?. You might say, â€œWell good for Whitneyâ€?, but you would be wrong. See, this well known minister is a married man, married with children even.

The insider tipster, who claims to be a close friend of the ministers wife says, â€œwhat Whitney is doing is just plain wrong, that man has a family.â€? And she offers a stern warning, â€œIâ€™m not accusing anyone of anything yet, but [the ministerâ€™s wife] is not just going to sit back and let Whitney steal her man â€¦ if stuff needs to get ugly, it will.â€? Well we certainly hope so, otherwise, itâ€™s just no fun.
