I have no freakin’ idea why Tyra Banks showing her “real” hair on television is such a big deal…but since it is..I’m sharing it with you kids.

Tyra kicked off the fifth season of The Tyra Banks Show by declaring it National Real Hair Day and coming out wig-free and thin.

Screw her hair…what I wanna know is how and when did Ty-Ty get so thin? She looks fabulous.

Oh, and note to Tyra – just because you declare it…it does not mean the rest of America is going out without they weaves.

Tyra Banks doesn’t just make and mold mediocre models, she makes penis’s disappear. Tyra has decided to go all Oprah and gift the first transgender contestant on her show America’s Next Top Model with a full gender reassignment surgery. Watch her other joint, The Tyra Banks Show, this Tuesday November 17th to see Isis King (born Darrell Walls) recieve the biggest surprise of her life.

“This is not happening!” King, who was born Darrell Walls, says when Banks introduces her to Dr. Marci Bowers, a leading gender reassignment surgeon who has experienced the surgery herself. Bowers is paying for the surgery. “[I feel] like I’m about to wake up,” says King – who lived in a homeless shelter in Maryland before trying out for the show.

22 year old Isis still has all her man-parts because she couldn’t afford the $20-$35K price tag of gender reassignment.

“It’s hard. I try not to think about it because it is something I’m really passionate about,” she says. “I feel like I really was born in the wrong body, and it’s just the one thing that makes me feel uncomfortable.”

Tyra went a little cheapo on this one…no one in the audience recieved a free sex change. Oprah would have hooked everybody up.

Tyra Banks is all that and a bag of chips in her own mind, but her audience sure doesn’t think so. After winning an Emmy earlier this year for her daytime talk show, Tyra planned a celebratory event with other African-American models to mark Vogue Italia’s all black model issue. It was supposed to be a celebration of the spirit and beauty of the African-American woman but audience members say it turned into “Tyra-Fest”. After ignoring her fans in the audience for over two hours, she then put them to work in the hot New York sun.

A source tells the publication, “You could hear her going on and on because she was standing right behind the stage curtain. She’s talking and talking. Meanwhile, you have the entire audience waiting almost two hours for the taping to start.”

“She leaves us waiting, and everyone is sitting there complaining, and then she comes out and doesn’t say a word about it. She didn’t even say hello, she got right into her script. She acted so cold towards everyone. She’s a phony. She had the audience prance down the street and then release black balloons. It was so disorganized, people fell over the press outside and almost trampled two little girls.”

The New York Times Magazine put The White Oprah (aka Tyra Banks) on the cover this week comparing her to Oprah and Martha Stewart.  Which is fantastic because we lurve Martha and Ty-Ty. But we got really excited when we heard that the story will cover Tyra’s “275 smiles from ‘angry but still smiling’ to flirting with boyfriend.”

Fans of America’s Next Top Model have all seen Tyra show those mall girls how to do this every season. But those of you who haven’t this will be a real treat.  Please feel free to add your own ‘photo shop’ joke here. We will not be dissing on Ty Ty on this blog anymore.

Tyra Banks better get her step up her game this cycle on America’s Next Top Model. Nikki Taylor and Tyson Bedford on Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel is going to give Tyra, Nigel, Jay, and Ms. Jay a run for their money. Sadly Twiggy won’t be returning this season and will be replaced by Paulina Porizkova.

The Bravo show seems much more high fashion and serious to us. But that don’t mean we won’t be watching for the fierce-ness on ANTM.  Cycle 10 of ANTM will premiere on The CW network on Wednesday, February 20th at 8pm.

Tyra Banks sparked pregnancy rumors this week as she was leaving a restaurant with her boyfriend John Utendahl in New York this week. Tara finally snagged her a good man. John runs the largest African American owned investment bank in the United States.

They’ve been dating for some time and a baby would certainly be the next step. Of course, this rumor could all be based on the fact that Miss Thang just wore an ill-fitting shirt on this day.

Tyra Banks has earned the title Christmas Scrooge this year because she cheaped out on her staff’s holiday bonus’s in favor of McDonalds Cheeseburgers. You heard me right. Cheeseburgers. Staffers are disgruntled because they uprooted from LA and move to NY for her and her $30 million deal.

At the staff Christmas party her employees were said to be drunk and angry and hungry. Tyra didn’t provide any party food! According to one gossip  rag, Tara made a brief appearance at the party on her way to Italy for the holidays.  Before she left, she told them;

“I want to thank you guys for working so hard- – I have a special guest – here’s Santa!”

Everybody ran to the big bag and grabbed their cold cheeseburgers. We stand corrected, she did provide food after all. It’s possible the higher-up’s got some sort of real bonus, but the everyday staff got bubcuss. I bet all these guys have their resumes on Oprah’s desk first thing in the morning. You know the O gives good Christmas junk.

Self-proclaimed supermodel and plastic surgery addict Janice Dickinson stuck her skinny foot in her mouth on the Today Show yesterday morning. For some strange reason the powers that be at NBC thought they should interview Janice about the controversy surrounding the Jennifer Love Hewitt bikini pictures. At first JD was doing well, she defended Jennifer and said she was a “healthy, not emaciated woman.”

“These are unflattering camera angles on her,” she continued. “You want to see someone who’s fat? I’m sorry, Tyra. Tyra Banks is fat. This girl is not fat.”

But Al Roker put some real-life in Janice’s tiny model world real quick by saying that he didn’t think anyone would consider Tyra Banks fat. And we agree. But we were sad to see that Janice didn’t defend her statement. She quickly backtracked and said she was just joking. We are quite sure she thinks Tyra is chubby and in the modeling world maybe she is. We can handle the truth JD. If you think Tyra is fat, then stand by it. We think you are a hot plastic surgery mess and we stand by that.
