As much as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes would like to pretend that Suri is not from this world…she has proved today that she is an actual living breathing non-alien five year old kid.

Five-year-old Suri Cruise – and her golden high heeled shoes – threw a major temper tantrum yesterday at FAO Schwarz in New York City. We spotted the tot red faced and crying – even shouting at Katie Holmes – in the middle of the store. Certainly FAO Schwarz is the location of many childhood breakdowns. Most kids who go in there probably aren’t going to leave with the toys they wanted. Scenes ensue. Of course it’s generally agreed that parents shouldn’t give in to temper tantrums – but not surprisingly, Suri was pacified with a lollipop and toys. A good lesson learned!

Sure, Tom Cruise gets a little too Xenu-ed every few years and does some couch jumping and Matt Lauer bashing…but in general he always comes across as a guy you’d like to hang out with.

If confidence is sexy, then TC should be snagging the People’s Sexiest Man Alive spot yearly. I mean, it takes cahones do get involved in a real life dance off at a friends wedding.

Even after all the couch-jumping on Oprah and finger-wagging at Matt Lauer Tom is still a bankable super star…he just needs that ONE great role to propel him back to his mid-90′s goldenboy status.

Currently he’s working on yet another Mission Impossible sequel  and he’s signed on for the movie version of the musical  Rock of Ages.

Now, there is a rumor that Tom is in the running for the role of Alex Murphy/RoboCop in the film’s remake. MGM is also eyeing stars such as Johnny Depp and Keanu Reeves for the role.

I can totally see both Tom and Keanu as Robocop. As long as they give Tom some robo-boot lifts.

My vote for Tom’s next movie is the Les Grossman movie. They’ve been talking about making it for two years, but MTV recently said there is major buzz going on about it actually made now. If you don’t know about Tom Cruise’s Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder…you better recognize! See the below clip but turn your speakers down if you are at work, the Ludacrus song is unedited.

Paramount and MTV films announced this afternoon they are developing a movie based on Grossman. Cruise will star and produce alongside ‘Tropic Thunder’ co-star and director Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld of Red Hour Films.

Keeping with the comedic tone of the planned film, both Stiller and Paramount released statements regarding Grossman.

Stiller’s said, “Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the human class struggle to achieve greatness against all odds. He has assured me he plans to quote ‘F**king kill the sh*t out of this movie and make Citizen f**king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”

Paramount Film Group president, Adam Goodman, also played along, saying, “Everything I learned in this business, I’ve learned from Les. I started out as his assistant, and from the first day he threw his desk at me when I got his lunch order wrong, I have loved him like a father.”

Especially the part of playing a fool at an awards show.

BlindGossip – Chip and Grin – an actress and actor couple – have been arguing a lot in the past week or so. She is only obligated to make public appearances with him approximately once per month for a “date night” plus once per month for a “family photo”, and is annoyed that he is asking more of her. Since she has agreed to attend a movie premiere with him this month, she is totally balking at attending an awards show together in the very near future (she is also determined not to be present at events where he is going to play the fool). By the way, if she looks healthier and happier lately, it’s because she is. She is not afraid of him anymore, she can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and she is determined to come out of this divorce on top.

‘Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel’ and’ coming out of the divorce on top’ also jives with the rumors we’ve always heard that Katie entered a five year marriage contract with the space alien.

Say what you will about Tom Cruise and his personal brand of brainwashed crazy..his comedic chops are always DEAD ON. Playing his character from the 2008 satire action/comedy movie Tropic Thunder ,MTV has recently starting releasing the  Les Grossman promos for this years show.

Of course there is a Risky Business pants-less dance scene ..but most people are buzzing about the scenes Les shot with the boys of Twilight.

These two clips feature Twilight saga stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Pattinson goes to Grossman asking him if he can wash his hair for the awards ceremony, and Grossman flips out, saying that doing so would be “flushing his career down the toilet.” His dirty hair, says Grossman, is the reason for his immense success. Pattinson then fearfully promises that if he washes his hair, it will only be with dirt.

In the Lautner clip, the young star goes to Les Grossman trying to get out of the award ceremony, because his friend’s wedding is the same weekend. Grossman then comes up with the brilliant idea of having a look-alike take his place at the wedding. The look-alike, however, is a hefty drunken man with curly hair.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards takes place on Sunday June 6 at 8pm central on MTV. Be sure to tune in, and in the meantime, be on the look-out for more Les Grossman clips!

On entertaining his family: “I’d create different characters and ad-lib sketches to make my sisters and my mother feel better. I’d try to make them laugh. I’d do Donald Duck as John Wayne. I’d watch Soul Train and imitate the dancers. I guess you can say that’s where it started. I always had a dream to be in movies, [my family] didn’t say, That’s impossible. They laughed.”

On jumping on the couch on Oprah: “What happened, happened… I wanted the audience to be happy just like I wanted to make my sisters and my mother happy when I did those skits as a kid. But I’ll take responsibility for my actions… Afterward, wild things were being said about me, and once they’re in the ether, there’s nothing you can do about it. It felt like being the new kid in the schoolyard again and the other kids are whispering and whispering about you and suddenly you hear what they’re saying, and you think, What? That didn’t happen. Look at the reality of the situation.”

On wife Katie Holmes: “Because we do live in a cynical world. It’s easy to be cynical. Making the choice not to be cynical is important. You can keep dwelling on what didn’t work, or you can figure out how to fix it. Which is what being a parent is all about. You know, I’m married to such a special woman. Every night before we go to sleep, Kate and I look at each other and it’s like, How’d we do today?”

On daughter Suri Cruise: “It’s come full circle. Now I’ll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I’m working on a script. I’ll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She’s four years old. But she asks all the right questions: Why does that happen? Those are the bad guys? You’re the good guy, right?”

POOR Slash. All the star guitarist wanted to do was tune his Gibson and collect his thoughts before going onstage at the Staples Center here with the Black Eyed Peas. He was jittery — a tattooed bundle of nerves in a leather top hat.

But a visitor was outside his dressing room door, his manager announced. Was it O.K. for Tom Cruise to come in and say hello?
Slash, who recently released a solo album (“Slash”) but is still best known for his Guns N’ Roses days, was taken aback. “As in, Tom Cruise Tom Cruise?” he asked. Yep, the wide-eyed manager said. “Um, yeah sure — tell him to come in.”

And suddenly there was a beaming Mr. Cruise. His wife, Katie Holmes, lingered behind him. “I’m a big fan, and I just really wanted to meet you,” Mr. Cruise said. Some awkward banter followed — neither man seemed to know whether to play the fan role or the celebrity one — and ended with a confession. “I’m a little nervous to go onstage,” Slash said in a soft voice. Mr. Cruise tried to comfort him, saying the same thing happens on a movie set. “That’s good,” Mr. Cruise asserted. “That means it will be a good performance.”

With that, Mr. Cruise bid adieu, leaving Slash a bit discombobulated (although, frankly, it was hard to tell since his face was almost entirely hidden by mirrored aviator sunglasses and his enormous mop of hair). “That has to be one of the weirdest things that has happened to me in at least two weeks,” he said, adding that he couldn’t believe how nice Mr. Cruise was. “And he’s not as short as everybody seems to think.”
