You may remember Tammy Faye Messner as runny mascara-ed Tammy Faye Baker who’s husband was sent to prison for fraud. However you remember her, you most likely wouldn’t recognize her now. In a letter she posted on her website Tammy tells her fans and friends that her doctors have stopped treating her cancer and her weight has dropped to 65 pounds.

“The doctors have stopped trying to treat the cancer and so now it’s up to God and my faith. And that’s enough!” she wrote.

Tammy Faye has spoken frequently about her cancer and says she hopes she can be an inspiration to others.
