Steven Tyler Does Not Look Good

Steven Tyler’s angular face and huge lips used to make him look somewhat sexy..but now that he is like 108 years old…….not so much.

Seriously, he’s 61 years old…and in rockstar years that is about 100. It also doesn’t help that he is still convalescing from his old man tumble off stage last week.

I know I shouldn’t mock one of the greats…but I’m just saying when you start falling off stage and breaking shit it might be time to hang it up. You don’t see Caleb Followill (Kings of Leon) tottering off the stage.

Steven Tyler Checks Into Rehab

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, has checked himself into a rehab. The sixty-year old singer is getting treatment for “substance abuse” at a the Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic. That’s the same facility that hunky Dr. Drew Pinsky treated those crazy folks from VH1’s Celebrity Rehab.

Tylers representative says that he has no knowledge of the situation. Get with the program dude.

Steven Tyler’s Eating Disorder

Steven Tyler isn’t afraid to admit that his vain, or that he might be manorexic. The Aerosmith frontman says he is so terrified of losing his trademark slender body that he stays on constant diet.

“I have to watch what I eat because I have this ongoing nightmare that I’m going to put on weight and end up looking like some of the other rock stars of a certain age who bounce around the stage. You look at them and think, ‘Oh my God, what happened to you? How did you let yourself get like that?’ I always call Joe Perry, my bandmate, and say, ‘Do you still weigh 145 pounds?’ “For God’s sake I still want to be able to fit into those pants I wore on the last tour. I just live by the motto that nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. I don’t eat regularly during the day and in the evening I tend to stick to wild salmon and broccoli. Every night before I get into bed, I do 250 sit-ups religiously.”

Hmmm…eating disorder much Steven? This sheds some light on the Tyler family’s weight issues. It’s no secret that two of Steven daughters have battled their weight over the years as well. Liv Tyler has said that she has been told she would get better acting roles if she would lose weight and her sister Mia Tyler finally learned to accept her plus size body and is now a high fashion plus model.

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has been secretly battling hepatitis C â€” a serious viral infection of the blood, often associated with dirty needles, that can lead to chronic liver disease. During a period when Aerosmith was taking a break, Stevenâ€™s doctor put him on an 11 month interferon treatment program that Tyler described by saying, â€œit about killed me.â€? An admitted recovering drug addict, Tyler told “Access Hollywood’” that after a year of interferon treatments, “It is nonexistent in my bloodstream â€¦ where it’s like a complete cure.”

It was a really crappy year for Steven, during this horrible treatment that would wake him up in the middle of the night with violent nosebleeds, his marriage to Teresa Barrick also fell apart. Just like Pamela Anderson, Steven is sort of becoming a celebrity spokesperson for the disease. He says, â€œHepatitis C is the one that, of all the people in this room, at least three have it and don’t know it. It’s the silent killer. I may go on ‘Oprah’ and talk about this.” Oprah gets all the good celebrity disease stories.
