Football was on at my house for about 10 straight hours yesterday. I saw and heard all the memorable moments. I’m feeling incredible bad for the Raven’s kicker..can you imagine being that kid today. Ouch.

But more importantly, I’m feeling very defensive about Steven Tyler. Listen up people…..he is a rock and roll singer not one of The Four Tenors. He rasped and screamed his way through the national anthem just like he’s been singing Aerosmith song for DECADES. The only difference is he was backed by his band, which apparently makes a huge difference to the masses.

I suppose the face that he making a living judging other people singing on American Idol these days plays into this ruckus, but still and again….it’s STEVEN TYLER. Get off his cloud people.

Kid Rock is just keeping it real, ya’ll. He recently slammed iconic Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler for taking a cheesy job at American Idol.

Kid Rock told Entertainment Weekly: “I think it’s the stupidest thing he’s ever done in his life. He’s a sacred American institution of rock and roll, and he just threw it all out the window. Just stomped on it and set it on fire. I think whoever’s advising him… we should bring back the guillotine, or whatever they call that thing. And if it was himself, he needs some serious counselling. I love him to death, but I gotta speak the truth.”

Speak it brotha! Although I do seriously doubt taking this job is the stupidest thing Stevie has ever done.

Ladies and gentleman, your season 10 American Idol judges are now official.

The announcement that Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson will be on the judging panel for season 10 of American Idol was made at a live event Wednesday.

The blogger over at CrazyDaysandNights posted this interesting blind item yesterday. I thought it about for a while and the only two contenders for this one are Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and The Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood.

This A list rocker has been trying for the past month to convince a girl he met in rehab to have an abortion. The reason? She is 17. So far she has refused.

Steven Tyler’s angular face and huge lips used to make him look somewhat sexy..but now that he is like 108 years old…….not so much.

Seriously, he’s 61 years old…and in rockstar years that is about 100. It also doesn’t help that he is still convalescing from his old man tumble off stage last week.

I know I shouldn’t mock one of the greats…but I’m just saying when you start falling off stage and breaking shit it might be time to hang it up. You don’t see Caleb Followill (Kings of Leon) tottering off the stage.
