That’s some scary sh–. You never wanna hear those words come out of your doctors mouth. But Sheryl Crow did. And she’s dealing. She found out about the brain tumor last year after undergoing some testing for memory loss. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with me.
She had an MRI done after she forgot the lyrics to her bread and butter song Soak Up The Sun on stage. She’s keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing for someone who has already battled breast cancer. She even made an off the cuff remark about being 50 and her brain going to sh–.
She told the Las Vegas Review: ‘I haven’t really talked about it. In November, I found out I have a brain tumour. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it.’
Crow also told an audience about her condition at a recent concert, which despite its serious sounding nature is very common.
Her spokeswoman Christine Wolff said: ‘[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone.
‘The tumour is a meningioma; it’s typically benign and develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord. She is doing great and is healthy and happy.
She looks great…this is Sheryl performing this past April. Screw off breast cancer and brain tumor!
