Blake Lively is ALWAYS at the Met Gala…so is Scarlett Johansson but it’s really Blake’s thing. She’s the fashion junkie. But she didn’t make it this year. The official reason she didn’t come is something much less dramatic, but the real reason is because her current lov-ah’s ex-wife was going to be there.

And be there big time. Scarlett Johansson is starring in the biggest movie ever right now. The Avengers is kicking ass and taking names everywhere and will continue to do so for a while. You have to give Blake props for not showing up, Ryan Reynolds on her arm and ruining the entire night for Scarlett. It’s true that Blake might not feel ready or worthy to go up against a box-office smashing Scarlett right now..but I’m gonna go with my original happy thought she is just being cool.

I wish I had time today to post and discuss all the gorgeous dresses that showed up at last night’s event, but since I don’t head over to Lainey Gossip and see the best and the worst. It’s totally a girly time-waster and totally worth it.

We may never see nude photos of Scarlett Johansson again. Well, that is if she uses this cell phone hacking incidence as a lesson learned to NOT TAKE NUDE PICTURES OF YOURSELF ON YOUR PHONE! When will celebrities learn? Anyway…it was a whole lotta hoopla over NO MONEY. They guy that hacked over 50 celebrity cell phones says he wasn’t trying to sell anything. He just did it for fun.

I think the only “fun” part of this whole thing for me was seeing this FBI explanation chart with the worlds OPERATION HACKERAZZI across the top. And the two gentlemen on either side of it looking like The Price Is Right girls.

The FBI has arrested one person suspected of hacking into the phones of Hollywoodstars like Scarlett Johansson and Vanessa Hudgens … and leaking private photos.  And, we’ve learned, the FBI is convinced the guy is a lone wolf, who never got a cent for the pictures he stole … he just did it for the thrill.

Among the stars who claim they were victimized by the hacker — Ali Larter, Jessica Alba and Emma Caulfield.

Maybe. Probably. Like seriously…why else is she still with Sean Penn?

There’s a blind item floating around the net this morning about a young Oscar winning actress and an older actor that have been overhead talking about the baby they have due in the fall.

Any other suggestions?

Of course you know that Reese Witherspoon married Jim Toth over the weekend. By all accounts it was a beautiful affair..Reese was fabulous in a Monique Lhuillier gown..natch.But the real show stopper was the fact that Scarlett Johansson brought Sean Penn to the wedding as her guest.

“Scarlett is Jim’s client, but no one, including the bride, knew she would have turned up with Sean Penn,” a friend of Scarlett’s says”Turning up at a wedding with your boyfriend is definitely a huge statement, especially that wedding. What it’s doing is announcing to the whole of Hollywood that they are serious.”

I don’t like this couple. Too old..too young…too gorgeous…too busted up looking…too many reasons to name.

I was never a Ryan Reynolds fan so I never really paid much attention to the fact that he was married to Scarlett Johansson..although I do love her.

But that was until I watched Adventureland one night a few weeks ago at 3am when my insomnia was raging. Sure, he played a wanna-be musician loser but he did it hot-ly.
