The movie was already in the process of getting made before Brown passed away on Christmas day. I’m all about some Sam Jackson, and if it wasn’t for the fact that he is about an entire foot taller than James Brown, and if there weren’t MANY more viable options out there: Eddie Murphy, Usher, Jamie Foxx, I would be on board. But when I go to Sam, I wanna see some asses getting kicked and some really cool curse words.
