For all of you who have spread the Jake Gyllenhaal gay rumor, this one is for you. I knew hunky-boy was straight! Us Weekly reports that Jake is moving in to play house with Reese Witherspoon. Jake quietly moved in to Reese’s L.A. mansion and is already a father figure to her two kids.

“Marriage is definitely what they are working toward,” a source close to the actress, 32, tells Us of the couple who’ve been together for a year.

Take this news for what it’s worth, but The National Enquirer reports that Reese Witherspoon has turned down a marriage proposal from Jake Gyllenhaal. NE claims that Jake popped the big question while the couple were on vaca in Italy, but that Reese turned him down flat.

“Reese says it is just too soon after her divorce from Ryan to think about marrying again. She is madly in love with Jake, but her divorce just became final, and she doesn’t want to rush into anything.Reese wants to take things very slowly because of her two young children. She doesn’t want anything to upset or disrupt them. It took her a while to introduce them to Jake – she didn’t want them to know they were a couple until they were definitely serious about each other.They are madly in love. They really are the perfect couple.”

It’s hard to buy this one. Reese and Jake could possibly be the most level-headed (and fiercely private) celebrities in the game and this story just reeks of “we need some news fast” and our well-trained Spidey-Gossip-Sense calls BS.

Word on the net is that Reese Witherspoon spent a white wine fueled evening with singer (and known womanizer) James Blunt. Reese attended James’s show at the El Rey Theater earlier this month with three of her friends. When the greasy haired singer finished his set he went to the bar and proceeded to try to pick up gorgeous Reese Witherspoon. They spent the next hour talking together and ignoring Reese’s friends and sources say they saw Reese writing what we assume was her phone number down on a piece of paper for James.

We are holding out hope that just because Petra Nemcova had a lapse in judgement and had sex with this guy doesn’t mean that one the hottest actresses alive is gonna fall for that whiney/greasy musician thing. He is so not her type and we wouldn’t be suprised if she gave him a fake phone number.

You heard it here first kids. People magazine has jumped on the bandwagon and reporting that Reese Witherspoon is most definitely dating Jake Gyllenhaal. People reports they were spotted dining with two other couples at LA II Sole and very publicly cuddling. Friends of the couple say that they are more than just friend and spend a great deal of time together. Jake has already met Reese’s kids and sources say he is not freaked out at all to be dating someone with an insta-family.

Don’t look for a super quick Hollywood wedding for these two, Reese is still nursing a broken heart over the destruction of her marriage and is taking this new relationship very slow. We HEART Reese Witherspoon and wish her the very best. We also wish that Ryan Phillippe’s left testicle would fall off.
