Confirmation reports hit the net today that Penelope is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Javier Bardem.

There, the Oscar winner also came down with a case of “food poisoning.” In yesterday’s Page Six, Cruz looked plumper than ever in a photo of her and beau Javier Bardem leaving a U2 concert in Paris. Bardem is leaving in a few weeks to start shooting a movie in Bali with Julia Roberts. Cruz’s rep declined to comment.
