I think this is brilliant marketing. You will get a man like this if wear this perfume. After 24 hours of rumors, it’s been confirmed that Brad Pitt is now officially the face of CHANEL No. 5.  I cannot wait until the news of the payday leaks. That’s almost more interesting to me than a man shilling the classic scent.

“Chanel has selected world renowned actor Brad Pitt to be the face of the upcoming advertising campaign for CHANEL No. 5,” the brand said in a release.

The Chanel deal mark two firsts: it’s the 48-year-old actor’s debut beauty spokesmodel gig and the brand’s first time having a man represent its famously iconic women’s scent that launched back in the 1920s.

Pitt follows in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman, who starred in the short film No. 5 The Film in 2004 and Audrey Tautou who has held the spot as the scent’s visage since 2008.

No word on how much Pitt is being paid for the deal. Meanwhile, hia fiancee and mother of his six kids Angelina Jolie was handed a reported $10 million in 2011 for her endorsement deal with another historic and luxe brand, Louis Vuitton.

Rihanna’s ‘thug life’ may be catching up with her. It’s not a secret that she’s been burning the fattie at both ends lately.

Star magazine even claims she is ‘spiraling out of control’.

‘Rihanna loves to party but this past month she’s gotten really out of control,’ an insider tells the publication. ‘She’s been drinking almost everyday and talking about smoking weed a lot too.’ Her wild nights out have included a late visit to a strip club in Queens, New York, on May 2 where she was seen throwing money at female performers.‘Everyone is telling her to slow down and think about therapy, or even rehab,’ the source continues.

Star magazine makes shit up all the time, so take that with a grain of salt. But it is true that she is so rundown that she couldn’t do dress rehearsal for Saturday Night Live last weekend, and she partied at the Met Gala until she nearly collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital and treated for ‘exhaustion and dehydration’.

Being treated for ‘exhaustion’ in the celebrity world usually means overdose or ‘meltdown coming soon’. Since it’s pretty well known that Ri-ri’s drug of choice is weed with booze on the side I doubt she’s going to overdose any time soon. But I see a meltdown coming and coming soon.

Johnny Depp was on Michelle Pfieffer’s went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this show to promote their new movie Dark Shadows. I am dying to see this movie and can’t wait to see the full episode of Ellen…but more interesting than talk of the Tim Burton movie was Michelle Pfieffer admitting that she has always wanted to boink Johnny Depp.

You can’t blame her. Who doesn’t having doing Johnny Depp on their bucket list?

The actress, who stars alongside Depp in the new movie Dark Shadows, made the saucy confession as the pair appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote the film.

Ellen asked her about having Depp on her bucket list of actors to work with and Pfeiffer quipped: ‘He was on my bucket list but I was leaving out to work with!’

Depp raised his eyebrows and joked: ‘It’s getting warm in here!’

Ellen also presented Depp with a bracelet that was part of a pair.

Both were inscribed with the words: ‘Johnny & Ellen,’ and the date and Ellen then told him: ‘Now we’re going steady!’
