Bryce Dallas Howard Gains Real Baby WeightPosted on: May 14, 2012
I have so much love for Bryce Dallas Howard after seeing these pictures of her four months after giving birth to her second child..a baby girl named Beatrice. It is hard enough to be pregnant/post-postpartum in the real world…I cannot imagine the pressure she feels as Hollywood royalty and an A-List actress to be back to her normal weight 4 days after giving birth. She is going to get all kind of criticism for these pictures and I hope she is strong enough to just say, “F— off if you can’t deal“. I, for one, think she is amazing. She’s a talented actress and one of the very few celebrity children that didn’t got batshit crazy in the L.A. clubs when she was 14. She manages to keep her private life private and seems to adore her family. I hope everyone remembers all that before they make hurtful comments about her body. Which really is none of our business. She is obviously concentrating on her newborn and not obsessing with trainers and nutritionists. One the left: Bryce in October 2011 before giving birth..on the right as Hilly in The Help at her pre-pregnancy weight. Bryce with her family over Mother’s Day weekend. In 2003, Bryce talked openly about her struggle with post-partum depression following the arrival of her eldest child, Theo, 5. In an essay for Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP blog, she wrote: ‘Before Theo was born, I had been in good humour about my 80-pound weight gain, but I was now mortified by it. ‘I felt I was failing at breast feeding. My house was a mess.
‘I believed I was a terrible dog owner. I was certain I was an awful actress,’ she revealed in the heartfelt confession. But she said she overcame her depression with the help of friends and family, including her famous father, Hollywood director Ron Howard.‘Do I wish I had never endured postpartum depression? Absolutely,’ wrote Howard.
‘I…feel deep gratitude for those who stood by me, for the lesson that we must never be afraid to ask for help.’

Jennie Garth Breaks Down Over Divorce For RatingsPosted on: May 14, 2012
Because you know every woman wants to let her deepest feelings about the man she loved with all her heart air on tv….it just never stops shocking me what people will give up for ratings/fame/money. I had a hard time watching the clip (see it here) of Jennie Garth baring her soul on her CMT reality show Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country. Somethings are just too personal. Sitting in a circle with two women and her therapist, a teary-eyed Garth, 40, talks about the “sadness” and “anger” she feels about Peter Facinelli filing for divorce in March. “I think with any sort of rejection, you’re angry that you weren’t enough for that person,” she says in the episode airing Friday at 9 p.m. “So I don’t know if I’m angry at myself for not being enough, or if I’m angry at him for not considering me to be enough.” Talking about Facinelli’s decision to end their longtime union, Garth says she hoped they’d be together “forever,” adding, “This really threw me for a loop.” Wiping her eyes, she says she realizes how much she truly adored him. ”It’s weird and sad, but I really realized through this whole experience how much I loved him, how deeply I loved him and how deeply I loved us,” she explains. On-line Petition Started To Save GCBPosted on: May 14, 2012
I normally never post about tv show’s being axed…in fact I don’t really care enough to even keep up with what is still on and what is not other than the few shows I DVR. But I am so pissed off that ABC cancelled GCB that I now understand how if feels to have something you love yanked out from under you. Someone must feel the same way about every one of these shows that is getting the ax this fall…so let’s all grieve together and have a moment of silence over never finding out if Amanda and Pastor Tudor hook-up. I mean, how can you not love this campy, over-the-top show? Annie Potts people…Annie Potts. Hold-on a tick..I feel a little bit better because I just found this online petition that has already been started to save my beloved GCB. Here’s a full list of the other shows the networks have axed from their line-up…if one of your loves in on here, please accept my condolences. And then go sign the save GCB petition. I have very few guilty pleasure shows…and this was at the top of my list. ABC: GBC, The River, Missing, Pan Am, Work It, Man Up, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Charlie’s Angels NBC: Are You There, Chelsea?, Awake, Bent, Best Friend’s Forever, Harry’s Law, The Firm, Prime Suspect, Playboy Club, Who Do You Think You Are and Free Agents CBS: CSI: Miami, Gifted Man, How To Be A Gentleman, Unforgettable, Rob and NY 22 FOX: Terra Nova, Alcatraz, Breaking In, The Finder, I Hate My Teenage Daughter and Allen Gregory The CW: Ringer, The Secret Circle and H8R
