It’s no secret that Nicole Richie used to be unhealthy skinny. Back her in her Rachel Zoe days.

But now that Nicole has her own clothing and jewelry line, House of Harlow and Winter Kate, she has rebelled against the size -00  look and now has some hot curves. Maybe some new curves? She looks breast enhancement curvy to me in these pictures of her ‘girls weekend’ from Mexico over the weekend.

In an attempt to bring back the frienemy PR trick, the promoters of the Project Runway knockoff Fashion Star have “leaked” a story that the two stars are in the middle of a major cat fight. According to The National Enquirer, Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie are not getting along on the set of their new show.

Sources claim they’re constantly sparring, and the two have a rivalry that goes back years as competing heads of their own fashion lines, the Jessica Simpson Collection and Nicole’s House of Harlow.

My gut says these two have no hate for each other and this a made up story in a sad attempt to revive the tired frienemy media machine..which makes me not want to watch this show even more.

“Producers thought pairing them on screen would mean lots of fireworks to attract viewers,” said the insider. “But their personalities don’t mesh at all. Behind the scenes, the set is a war zone.” While Nicole is a laid-back sweetie, Jess is a major diva, said the source.

“Nicole is always ready to go, but Jess lingers in her dressing room, keeping everyone waiting and asking to do multiple run-throughs,” the insider divulged.

Then there’s their weight issues. Jess is carrying some extra pounds while Nicole is runway skinny.

“Nicole has made a few digs about Jessica ‘throwing her weight around,’ while Jessica has joked that someone would have to be on a starvation diet to wear Nicole’s designs,” the insider said. “Now they’re barely talking, which doesn’t bode well for the show’s success - and it isn’t even on the air yet!”

I love this story. I love it that celebrity couples argue about the same things as the we do. Men are men are men no matter where you live.

I don’t think my shopping comes anywhere near what Nicole Richie spends each month, but it’s very comforting to me that men off all lifestyles and tax brackets are fussing at us for the same thing!

After checking his credit card bill Joel Madden tweeted; “Do you ever look at your credit card bill and ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS, “

Nicole tweeted back simply; “That’s why I ignore your calls,”

Proving he wasn’t really mad, just confused, Joel tweeted back;  “I mean, can’t we just go to Target and get our pillows??? [Shaking My Head].

I’ve never got the ‘talk’ for spending $3000.00 on pillows but I have been told that there is no need for me to spend over $500 at Macy’s and that he certainly does not understand why a Piperlime, Zappos or Sephora box is on our porch every week. Or the latest…why I spent $25 on a teether giraffe for Baby Backwash.

My answer of course is just that…’because I need this stuff’. Do you feel me girls?

What should have been the best day of Nicole Richie’s life turned out to be a stress-filled, disappointed mess.

The first problem started when Nicole couldn’t get the price from the tabloids that she wanted for the exclusive rights to the wedding pictures. She ended up selling them to People for much less than her original $100,000 request. And she didn’t even get the cover..her big day was reduced to just a sidebar.

Then she had to have her security team confiscate any and all cell phones and cameras to ensure that none of the guests leaked any unauthorized pictures.

Then there was the drama over Paris Hilton not being invited, even though her sister Nicky Hilton was on the guest list.

And what happened to her BFF’s Christina Aguilera and Kim Kardashian? Both no shows. Xtina was even supposed to perform. That one really had to suck. I can’t imagine getting married without your girls around you.
