I feel so bad for Mischa Barton. Remember back in the day when she was the IT girl. I mean IT.

Now? Not so much.

She’s been out of work for so long I can’t even remember the last real acting job she had and since no one in the US cares about her anymore she is selling old stories to the British tabs now.

In an interview in the January issue of Tatler magazine, she said: ‘I had this terrible surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and it drove me mad.

‘I had infections and I couldn’t eat anything except Slush Puppies for three months and I can’t tell you how awful it was. Anyway, I’d had enough and I went to the hospital.I was in a lot of pain and if they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150. I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, “No, absolutely not. I don’t want to be here,” and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150.’

It’s all BS of course. Just like every other messed up IT girl before her it was about some addiction or another. But what’s interesting is where most ex-IT girls would try to put this incident behind them and never speak of it again..she is dragging it out of the closet and trying to spin some new press. Rock bottom much?

Really, it’s sad. Five years ago before she was killed off on The O.C. this chick thought she had the world by the short and curlies. Just goes to show you how in any industry if you get too complacent there is always another IT girl lurking around the corner ready to take your place. And she might not have as much cellulite as you.

I just don’t know what to say about these pictures of Mischa Barton.

Obviously the pants are too tight and not flattering. Most girls don’t wear pants that draw attention to their problem areas, but clearly Mischa says F*&* that! She’s got big thighs and she’s going to flaunt them!

But what’s up with major VPL? (visiable panty line) I haven’t seen the outline of someones panties since the thong became popular. Don’t get me started on the muffin top, belly shirt and bra peek and dirty hair.

Is she trying to look like a cracked out ‘ho at the 7/11 waiting on a trucker?

Mischa Barton is broker than Lindsay Lohan. And that’s saying something.

We’ve all known that Mischa hasn’t been able to get any steady work in years, but I didn’t know it was bad that she couldn’t even buy herself some munchies. Mishy is notorious for getting baked up and munching out the past few years. Thus the weight gain, cellulite and loss of jobs.

When she tried to get her eat on a Whole Foods the other night, she got so hungrythat she started eating her pre-made pasta bowl while waiting in line to check out. Bad idea considering when the cashier ran her credit card she got the Big D. DECLINED. FAIL.

She immediately started digging through her purse trying to dig up enough cash, but in the end her friend had to bail her out and pay.

I’m sorry but isn’t smoking while driving illegal? This is like the fourteenth time I’ve seen pictures of Mischa getting high while driving. She is so bold an confident in her addiction that you almost have to admire her.

I’m sure she has a prescription for her weed, but I’m still pretty sure DUI of even a legal medicine is not allowed.

On a positive note…being a pothead totally explains her heinous fashion sense. How can you possibly manage to put together an outfit that flatters your large lower body when you are toasted?

Mischa Barton Sued For Not Paying Rent

Mischa Barton so broke she can’t pay her rent, ya’ll. Mishy’s landlord says the actress is refusing to pay rent on her $7000 a month apartment in New York City.

Mischa leased the apartment last September when she was starring on the CW’s The Beautiful Life….and we all know how that ended. Since then she’s done nothing really except her upcoming bit part on Law & Order SVU, and by all accounts things are not going well on that set and she will not be invited back.

Landlord M.R.A. Realties Inc. says in a lawsuit that Barton rebuffed efforts to collect the last three months’ worth of rent on her flat in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood.

Homegirl isn’t refusing to pay…she can’t pay..she broke.

Mischa Barton Is So Not Sober

The sober coach that the producers of The Beautiful Life hired for Mischa Barton either had the night off or he/she really sucks at their job.

Mischa Barton seemed to have trouble orienting herself at the G- star after-party at the Bowery Hotel. Barton — who recently attributed an involuntary hospitalization to wisdom-teeth complications — stum bled up to the check-in table with a posse of eight. “She kept saying, in a really spacey, weird British accent, ‘Like, I’m with the deejay. I to tally know the deejay. I’m here for the deejay,’ ” laughs our spy. “She was slurring her words.” After being let in, we’re told that Barton “needed to be escorted to the deejay booth” where she proceeded to “stand for about an hour, dancing in her own world. I don’t think her eyes were open to full capacity — or even half capacity — the whole time she was there.

Is there a reason that someone doesn’t pack her off to rehab with Burt Reynolds (who by the way…rocks for going to rehab at 73 years old!!!) so she can really get sober? Oh yeah….they need to exploit her a little more for ratings.

What do you do when know you’ve got a hit guilty pleasure television show on your hands…only your C list star just can’t stay away from the booze (and other things)?

You hire her a ‘sober coach’. Ashton Kutcher and company have hired a professional ‘sober coach’ to stay with Mischa all they time to make sure she doesn’t relapse and ruin their soon to be hit The Beautiful Life.

One has to wonder what the qualifications are for a job like ‘sober coach’. Is it a former addict that can reason with her when she’s feeling low from the tabs making fun of her cellulite and fugly high-waisted pants? Or is more along the lines of a big-strong-bruiser-type that can physically beat the crap of out any dealer that gets near her?

Mischa is hoping to kick off her recording career by releasing a Dylan-esque folk album early next year.

“Music has been a lifesaver for Mischa,� an insider spills to The National Enquirer. �These days whenever she gets depressed or lonely, Mischa scribbles down lyrics, practices chords, and works on her voice. She�s determined to emerge from her crisis with her own CD and an expanded career.�

I don’t even know what to say about this. There is just so much wrong with this story.
