I take one morning off and the bottom falls out of two of my favorite celebrity couples. The news broke today that both Rachel McAdams & Michael Sheen and Michelle Williams & Jason Segal have split up.

I also just found out that James Franco was the third choice for his role in Oz; The Great and Powerful. James only got the role after Robert Downey, Jr. anf Johnny Depp turned it down. And even though he was so far down on the list, he still raked in $7 million paycheck.

I only added that bit so I could show this picture of James with Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams promoting Oz in Moscow today. He looks a little wonky lately. Very granndpa chested or something.

And Michelle looks AH-MAZING. But then again…..we always look hotter after a break-up. And most of the time we don’t even do it on purpose. It’s like natures way of keeping our species going. The female of the species looks thinner, younger and happier after a break-up in order to attract a male of the species…sort of like peacock feather or penguins and rocks.…or something like that.

Most people aren’t digging these Marilyn Monroe inspired pictures of Michelle Williams in GQ.

Possibly because Michelle in real life is NOT THIS…but she’s getting comments like , ‘trashy…looks like Lindsay Lohan not Marilyn’.

My opinion is that the bad taste it’s leaving is more from Lindsay doing Marilyn every freakin’ chance she gets and she’s just ruined it for everybody.

Most of you know I am not a big fan of Michelle Williams. No reason..she doesn’t do anything for me. But Wow! Does she ever pull off this Marilyn Monroe look. Principal photography has started on My Week with Marilyn for 7 weeks at Pinewood Studios and on location in and around London. Michelle Williams plays the iconic Marilyn Monroe alongside with Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper, Emma Watson and Julia Ormond. The film chronicles a week in the life of Marilyn Monroe in which she escapes the shackles of her Hollywood career and embraces British life with Colin Clark.

In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl, the film that famously united Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, who was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller.

Nearly 40 years on, his diary account “The Prince, the Showgirl and Me” was published, but one week was missing and this was published some years later as “My Week with Marilyn” – this is the story of that week. When Arthur Miller leaves England, the coast is clear for Colin to introduce Marilyn to some of the pleasures of British life; an idyllic week in which he escorted a Monroe desperate to get away from her retinue of Hollywood hangers-on and the pressures of work.
