Michael J. Fox Defends Himself Against Rush LimbaughPosted on: October 27, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Defending himself against the big mouth pill popper, Rush Limbaugh, Michael J. Fox told Katie Couric last night that he WAS on his medication during the filming of the controversial political ads. Fox also said he certainly was not acting or exaggerating his condition. Fox told Couric: “The irony of it is that I was too medicated,” adding that his jumpy condition as he spoke to her reflected “a dearth of medication — not by design. I just take it, and it kicks in when it kicks in. That’s funny — the notion that you could calculate it for effect,” he said. “Would that we could.” I haven’t seen the interview, but reports say that during the 7 1/2-minute interview his shaking was so bad that at one point it dislodged the microphone clipped to his jacket. Rush, you’ve done alot of things you should be ashamed of, but this one takes the cake. Source: Yahoo News

Rush Limbaugh = Big Fat Pill Popping MeaniePosted on: October 26, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Rush Limbaugh says some pretty controversial and scathing things every day on his ultra conservative radio talk show. But this time his big mouth went a bit too far. On his show Monday, Limbaugh accused actor Michael J. Fox of exaggerating the effects of Parkinson’s disease to strengthen the campaign of the democratic candidates that support stem cell research. “He is exaggerating the effects of the disease,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s moving all around and shaking and it’s purely an act. . . . This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn’t take his medication or he’s acting.” Limbaugh knows this of course because he gets the shakes when he doesn’t take his illegally attainted pain pills. He later apologized…but the damage was done. Idiot. Source: MSN
