Mandy Moore says working in Hollywood made her feel bad about her weight in past, but she is finally over it. A normal size chick who could never been considered overweight says, “I want to be healthy, but in a industry where you can’t wear a sample size because it’s like a 0 or 2, it makes you feel bad about yourself. To go to photo shoot, its like, ‘Ugh, God, can’t you just at least get a regular size, like a 6 or 8 or something?”

But this smart cookie has made her peace with it. “I’m not like a toothpick, and I never will be. I’m just a regular-looking person – and that’s okay. It’s taken a while to come to grips with that since it’s definitely not the norm in my business. But like, who cares?”If anything, that makes someone more special,” she says, and adds with a laugh, “or at least that’s what I tell myself!” That’s what we tell ourselves too girl…keep the faith!

Is depression contagious? Mandy Moore’s ex-Zach Braff recently came out and admitted that he battles with depression and his real life is much like his character in Garden State, and now Mandy herself admits battling depression. You can read the article for yourself HERE but it sounds to me like Mandy really just had the blues after a hard break-up and not full blown depression. Either way, we are glad she got a hold of it and look forward to seeing her new movie, “Because I Said So” with the amazing Diane Keaton.
