Fox News is reporting that a special effects tech was killed today in a crash on the set of the newest Batman movie, The Dark Knight. The victim died when a truck carrying a camera platform crashed into a tree while following a stunt vehicle. The accident happened during production, not filming so no actors were involved.

The Dark Knight is currently filming in London and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

So now we all know where Maggie Gyllenhaal stands on public breastfeeding. She is all for it and so is baby Ramona.

There was a whole lotta ugly at the Oscar’s last night. I can’t remember another awards show where the gowns were so underwhelming. With the exception of the few that I have listed in my “Good” list, the others are either just so forgettable that they really aren’t worth posting or they are horrid. I’ll let you decide for yourselves.

Maggie Gyllenhaal takes total advantage of pregnancy and wears the ugliest, comfort shoe she can find. This is, as we all know, the only time in your life you are allowed to wear orthopedic like shoes without being made fun of. In her defense, she does do a lot of walking for a pregnant chick. Someone should have shared this information with Britney Spears, maybe she wouldn’t have nearly dropped Sean if she hadn’t had on 4 inch wedges.

Maggie Gyllenhaal had such bad morning sickness during her first trimester of pregnancy that all she could eat was watermelon and tiramisu. Maggie had her fiance Peter Sarsgaard, and her brother Jake Gyllenhaal, running all over the city to find her some food she could keep down.

She explains, “In the beginning there were just things that I had to have and eat nothing else except that thing - like watermelon, which is hard in February. “There were things that made no sense, too. I had my brother staying with me at one point - he and Peter, they were running around the city trying to find something that I could eat. “I was really sick. They came back with pasta and steak, Saltines (crackers) and all types of things and I couldn’t eat any of it. “Then my brother handed me a spoonful of tiramisu - just sugar and cream - he said I sat up like a mommy and ate it!”
