File this one under ‘aww…that’s sad’. Liv Tyler and her husband of five years have decided to separate. Liv married British rocker Royston Langdon in 2003 and their son Milo was born in 2004. Maybe Royston couldn’t take the creepy father-in-law anymore.

“Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family’s privacy be respected at this time.”

Liv also sets a great example for woman and young girls of all ages by accepting her body and loving it at whatever size she is. Liv’s body confidence and beautiful spirit make her something like a real version of the fairy princess she played in the Lord of the Rings.

Another reason we heart Liv Tyler is that she admits to having had a hard time losing her baby weight. Unlike most celebrity moms who insist their baby weight just fell off with yoga.

“I was not one of those women who just dropped pounds instantly when I was breastfeeding. Actually, I got so homely I was ravenous for things like doughnuts and cakes.”

 Liv also admits to hibernating her home the first year after son Milo was born and didn’t really get proactive in her weight loss until she saw a very unflattering picture of herself in a magazine.

 “I can remember walking down the street one day – I was going to the nail salon – when … a photographer took my picture,” she recalls. “I was wearing a very unflattering shirt that I had worn when I was pregnant and a pair of sweat pants, and when the picture appeared in a magazine they ran a caption asking if I was pregnant again. When I saw it I said, ‘I think the holiday is over.’ “

Liv lost the weight by shaking up her diet and working out a with a trainer. She does admit that she has started smoking again and knows she needs to quit. Again, very un-Hollywood like of her.

Liv Tyler is back. After two years off from acting and body obesssion to take care of her adorable little Milo, Liv is back and looking younger and more gorgeous that ever. Liv has endeared herself to all women by poo-pooing on the Hollywood baby weight race and choosing to focus on her baby instead of her body for the past couple of years. But now she is back and we couldn’t be happier. We totally heart Liv Tyler!

Oh and in our opinion, she is the only one that is really pulling off this bang-y hair thing right now.
