And here is why she was freaking out when the doctors decided that she did not in fact suffer from ADHD and took her bennies away. I cannot wait to see the hot mess that comes walking out of Betty Ford when this is over.

A source told RadarOnline: ‘Lindsay has been extremely emotional this past week and is finding comfort in food. Lindsay can’t stop eating, and has gained five pounds because she has such poor eating habits.

‘She has been exercising, but she just doesn’t have a lot of energy because she is no longer taking Adderall, which is a psycho-stimulant medication that contains amphetamine. She has been talking to a nutritionist at Betty Ford about eating healthier.’

Betty Ford’s doctors rarely prescribe anyone over the age of 15 the powerful drug, because they believe there are plenty of alternative treatments and also think that many people misuse the drug to control their weight.

Lindsay has been assigned a full team of carers – including a psychologist, dietician, chemical dependency technician and physician – who have devised a tailored care plan for her. The troubled starlet was previously said to have freaked out and ditched her original plan to enter the Seafield Centre in New York for treatment because it doesn’t allow its patients to smoke.

Here’s an interesting turn of events. This big mess probably isn’t even Lindsay’s fault.

Most people agree that Lindsay Lohan’s attorney is a tool..and that the only reason she keeps him employed is because his son gets her paid appearances and as we all know…that’s really the only way she has to make money these days.

Long gone are the days that she could get acting gigs.

So here’s the story. Lindsay’s most recent sentence was 90 days in jail. Her attorney told the judge he could get her in a 90 day lock-down rehab and the judge agreed. The only problem is…there is no such thing. Anywhere.

Fact is … there appear to be no non-jail rehab facilities that will keep patients in against their will — anywhere in the U.S..

Sources connected with the case tell TMZ … Lindsay’s lawyer, Mark Heller, represented to prosecutors he could get his client into a 90-day lockdown rehab center in NYC. As we reported, there are no private NY rehab centers that keep patients against their will, except for one connected with the prison system, and you have to have a felony record to get in — and Lindsay doesn’t.

We also checked to see if Lindsay could complete her 90-day lockdown rehab in CA, but there isn’t a single non-jail lockdown rehab facility in the State. 

Rehab guru Dr. Drew tells TMZ, “There is no rehab that will hold you against your will, unless they feel the person is a suicide risk, and in that case they can hold the individual for 72 hours.”

Here’s the BIG problem. Lindsay’s actual sentence is 90 days in jail, but the judge said he’d allow her to complete it with lockdown rehab. Sources say the prosecutors believed such a facility was available when they offered the plea deal.  

It would seem a typical 90-day rehab program wouldn’t cut it.  Lindsay has been there at least twice before. She constantly snuck out of Cirque Lodge in Utah and allegedly did the same thing at Betty Ford in California.

On top of that, Lindsay continues to drink, as recently as Friday.

We’re told prosecutors are reevaluating the plea deal to determine what they want to do.  Sources say the jail option is still on the table.

Lindsay Lohan is just a cautionary tale to most of us, but at least to one guy she was an inspiration to mock mercilessly.

It fits perfectly with Louis Vuitton’s Journey campaign. They should take advantage of the creativity and brilliance of Daniel Pianetti with a little help from the peeps at Buzzfeed. I’m sure she’d sign off on it, she definitely needs the money.

Lindsay Lohan will pretty much do porn for $100 a day but she has her limits. She will not do reality tv.

Her ego might be her downfall — because TMZ has learned, she just shut down a lucrative offer to do “Dancing with the Stars” … because she doesn’t want to do reality TV. Sources close to Lindsay tell us, the actress was made several offers to join the DWTS cast this upcoming season — offers that maxed out at $550,000.

But Lindsay — who still owes hundreds of thousands in back taxes – shut them down, telling friends she’d never consider doing reality TV … she wants to stick to films. But there’s one problem — after “The Canyons” fiasco, she’s basically made herself unhireable. And as the saying goes, beggars can’t be choosers.

Once again, Lindsay Lohan can’t get out of her own way to save her life. This time her mistake might just land her in jail…for real. Yesterday Lilo fired her long-time lawyer Shawn Holley right as she was in the middle of working on a deal that would have Lindsay in an in-house rehab for six months instead of a jail cell.

She wants her back now that she’s realized what a huge mistake that was…of course……the hot messness of her life continues….

Can you imagine how stressful it is to be Lindsay Lohan on a daily basis?

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the Santa Monica City Attorney – who is prosecuting Lindsay for allegedly lying to cops after her June car crash on Pacific Coast Highway — was willing keep Lindsay out of jail, PROVIDED she agree to check into “lockdown rehab” for 6 months.

Sources say … Shawn Holley – the lawyer who has kept Lindsay out of jail — was on her way to court Monday to meet with the prosecutor and the judge to hash out the deal.  What’s more, Lindsay also faces jail time for a probation violation in the jewelry heist case because she allegedly lied to cops after the crash.  We’re told the judge could have agreed to end both cases if Lindsay checked into rehab.

But Shawn never made it to court, because Lindsay signed her walking papers and hired a New York lawyer who was suspended in the ’90s from practicing law for 5 years.

Lindsay now says she wants Shawn back. The question — does Shawn have the stomach for another helping of Lindsay?  

There’s a hearing scheduled for 8:30 AM PT today.  Shawn will probably show up because she’s still counsel of record.  If she stays on the case, prosecutors could present the deal to her, but Lindsay is making it all very difficult.
