Police Recommend That Lane Garrison Be Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter

Posted on: February 1, 2007 | Leave a Comment

Police have recommended that Lane Garrison be charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and also contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Last month 26 year old Garrison, who plays “Tweener” on the hit show Prison Break, was driving his Land Rover with three teen-aged passengers when the car struck a tree and killed the 17 year old male passenger. Two 15 year old girls who were also in the car were both injured, one critically. Police have reported that Garrison had cocaine and more than twice the legal blood alcohol level in his system after the fatal car crash and charges should follow soon.
If Garrison is convicted of the manslaughter charge he faces up to ten years in prison. Art imitates life.

The police said that Prison Break star, Lane Garrison, appeared drunk at the hospital after the fatal car crash he was in over the weekend. I don’t think that’s a shock to anyone. Usually SUV’s full of teenagers that crash head on into trees involve alchohol, just don’t 26 year old actors that have no business with a car full of teenagers.
