I’m officially boycotting Shape magazine from this point forward.

Kelly Clarkson has been quoted a least 521 times saying that she is ok with her body and refuses to give in to pressure to get rail thin.

And then Shape magazine goes and does this….nice message to our country’s young girls Shape…you  suck.

I post these, for lack of a better word “fat pictures” of Kelly Clarkson not to poke fun at the American Idol winner….but to show all my sista’s that even celebrities and pop stars have food and body image issues too.

Look for Kelly to show up on the cover of Shape magazine about three months now with her story of how she lost 30 pounds in 30 days!

We feel just awful about all the bad press, if any, that Kelly Clarkson is getting lately. We just read somewhere that Kelly has agreed to collaborate with the devil (you kids know her by her street name: Paris Hilton) in an effort to get more press which means more ticket and album sales.

We hate to see Kelly hooking up with el diablo so we have decided to give her as much face time here at HWB as we possibly can to keep her from going to the dark side. I don’t know what the big deal is, all she needs to do is hire a personal trainer and nutritionist, lose 35 pounds and the world would love her again. She would have so much press she wouldn’t know what to do. Also, grab one of those cute band guys and start a very public relationship. That works for the Simpson girls.

Kelly Clarkson, who has never seemed bothered by her yo-yo weight habits,  recently admitted that even she has battled with self image problems and an eating disorder. Kelly told Us Weekly that she became bulimic in high school after getting passed over for a role in a school musical.

She went on to say she was embarrassed when a male friend called her on it and she just stopped purging cold turkey. Let’s hope she deals with this recent weight gain a little better. Maybe since she won’t be on the road this summer (her summer tour being cancelled to poor ticket sales) she can spend some time getting healthy again.
