Meet Katherine Heigl’s Adopted Daughter

Adopted from South Korea, Naleigh was named after Katherine’s mother, Nancy, and her sister, Margaret Leigh, who was also adopted from Korea. According to reports, Katherine and Josh have been preparing for a baby since late last year.

“Katie and Josh were aware it could take years, so they were being patient. They are thrilled to have a child in their lives, no matter what the challenges.”

Speaking to Ellen Degeneres, Katherine said, “About a year ago is when we said, ‘OK, let’s start the process,’ and the process is intense.”

She revealed: “It’s been a big part of my life and my family. My sister is Korean and my parents adopted her back in the 70s and so I just always knew that this is something I wanted to do. I just wanted to make sure that I was marrying a guy who understands that this was going to have to happen. Not everybody is down with that.”

Is the ‘incredible in her own mind’ Katherine Heigl pregnant?

Since Katherine was photographed sucking on a lollipop over the weekend instead of her customary ciggie…everyone thinks she might be expecting.

Well cheers Katherine. But Lord, please let it be a boy so she doesn’t pass on her granny style to another girl. Although, admittedly she does not look granny-like here. But she usually does.

ABC Calls Katherine Heigl’s Whining “Unfortunate”

Katherine Heigl has been on the top of my s**t list for a long time, but now she is perched at the tippy top. She smokes, she dresses like a 50 year-old woman and she whines all the freakin’ time. I just want someone to slap her stupid blonde face and tell her if she so miserable on Grey’s Anatomy then quit. That’s what you do when hate your job.

Katherine newest gripe is that she had to work a 17 hour day…one time…on the first day back of filming for this season. Big hairy deal. Who hasn’t had to work a long day once in a while and for those of you who work those long days AND take care of kids I’m sure you feel me.

Heigl was on David Letterman last month and said about starting production on “Grey’s”: “Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I�m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean.”

ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson responded to Katherine Heigl’s latest gripe about starring in a hit TV show.

“I think it’s unfortunate,” McPherson told TV critics about her comments (below). “People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave. There are so many people who work so hard on ‘Grey’s,’ and all of our shows, without any notoriety and those are the ones I’d be concerned about, people who feel like they’re being criticized or looked down upon.”

You know what I think is cruel and mean?� A single mom getting laid off and having no way to support her kids. A father losing his� job after losing his savings in the stock market over the past few years and the family ultimately losing the home they’ve work so hard far. Shut the hell up Katherine Heigl.

Greys Anatomy Season Finale Was A Doozy

Spoiler Alert if you recorded this and plan to watch it tonight curled up with a glass of wine….

Izzie and Alex took Meredith and Derek’s wedding so they could get married quickly …McDreamy and Meredith scribbled their own marriage contract on post it notes….Izzie had the surgery and forgot who Alex was…miraculously she got her memory back for one brief second before she flatlined.

Oh and George left the hospital to be an army doctor was hit by a bus and killed trying to save someone else …

This is why I stopped watching Grey’s Anatomy a few years ago. It’s way too much drama and emotion for a 10pm show. How are you supposed to go to sleep after watching something like this.

Katherine Heigl had to lose ten pounds for her role in “Knocked Up” and she said the dieting was “awful”. Katherine had to eat fish and veggies and work out daily to get the super fit body she sported in the box office hit.

“It was awful! I remember once reading an article about Jessica Alba – who is the most beautiful, most in-shape person alive – and how committed she was to her regimen. And I thought, There is no way in hell that will ever be me. I can’t only eat fish and vegetables or work out seven days a week. Then suddenly I was that person and I was shocked. But I could never maintain it. I like food too much!”

Amen sista! We know you do what you have to do for the payday, but we love the fact that she refuses to get sucked into the Hollywood body machine.

“Jennifer Aniston and Halle Berry are both in amazing shape. They look phenomenal but they don’t look sick. Then there’s Kate Winslet: She’s confident, beautiful, talented and sexy and she owns it. Early in my career, I read an interview she gave about how the industry wanted her to lose weight; she basically gave them the finger and said no. I remember thinking, I can do that too. I don’t have to look like one of these genetically superior people in order to work.”

Add this down to earth view on body image to her outspoken loyality to her friend TJ Knight and we officially add Katherine to our list of chicks that rock!
