But they are hanging in there..and keeping it private. When celebs go way far out of their way to keep a relationship quiet it usually means its meaningful.

These pictures were taken in Okalahoma City on the set of Kate’s new film The Killer Inside so I’m hoping for Kate’s sake  that the thick chin and unattractive hair are for the movie…not a new personal look.

I’ve always thought that lots of “hot blondes” would not be so hot without the “blonde”. Brunettes on the other hand, have stand-out features that make them shine even without the “blonde”.  (No offensive to my blonde readers. I’m sure you are all gorgeous.)

Of course Kate looked gorg..that’s no surprise. But it interesting to find out that the life of the party was Justin Timberlake (sans Jessica Biel) who was slamming tequila and encouraging everyone to do the electric slide. It sounds like a high-school house party..but without anyone throwing up in your parents bed and doing donuts in the front yard in a beat up Camaro. Things got so crazy that pissed off neighbors called the police around 1:30am!

“Kate was elated, dancing all night, having the time of her life – and she looked amazing in a very sexy little dress and [Christian] Louboutin heels,” a source told the mag. “She gave a very touching speech and spoke about how important her family is to her.”

Our spy says they had a three-hour meal at the Lure Fishbar with friends and were very cozy. Later, A-Rod went with Hudson to the Rose Bar, where they met up with her friend Ron Burkle. Hudson, currently starring in “Bride Wars,” has been single since Lance Armstrong dumped her. Said her rep: “Kate was at Lure with a group of 10 people.”

There’s alot of rumbling about the fact that Kate was obviously drunk or high at the awards show…but I’m chalking that up to a busy mom that pulled off her kids 5th birthday party after school on the same day as a big awards show. She was probably downing the champagne to calm her nerves on the way to the auditorium. She has been making some unfortunate outfit choices lately…but I’m hoping it’s a just a phase and she gets back in her Stella McCartney groove soon.

Bad dress aside, Kate picked up the award for the Favorite Leading Lady, beating out her Bride Wars costar Anne Hathaway.

Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Stacy Ferguson (Fergie), Marion  Cotillard will all have to go through boot camp before they allowed to begin filming for the movie version of ‘Nine’.

Director Rob Marshall is putting them a Fame-style boot camp to make sure they can sing and dance adequately. Penelope Cruz says she is looking forward to it.

“We have a camp in London where you go from the dancing room to the singing room, to the acting room to the dialect coach. It’s all day like that and I can’t wait to get started.”
