Kate Hudson was seen wearing a huge diamond on her hand in Boston this weekend prompting rumors that Owen Wilson may have popped the question. Although Kate dumped Owen once leading to his the Butterscotch Stallion’s suicide attempt, it seems like the pretty blonde couple may be taking it to the next level.

However, in recent months the stars have appeared to rekindle their love, and spent Easter together in March in Miami, Florida. They were also spotted enjoying a lunch date with Wilson’s parents on Hudson’s 29th birthday last month, where onlookers described the pair as “lovey-dovey”.A source tells Britain’s News Of The World newspaper, “Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with for ever. The engagement is a natural step for them both.”

Kate Hudson is apartment shopping in New York for a pad to share with her on again/off again Butterscotch Stallion, Owen Wilson. On Tuesday Gatecrasher reported that a friend of Kate’s credits getting back together with Owen for ending a wild streak in her life, during which he hooked-up with Justin Timberlake and Dax Shepard.

“She is ready to nest and has even been talking about having more little ones,” a friend of the actress tells me. She is relieved to be more settled again. She really felt as if she were testing her limits going out while she and Owen were separated.”

While we wait to find out if the beautiful blonde couple will be shacking up, let’s try to figure out what’s going on with Kate’s stomach.

It’s a cruel cruel fake fake world kids. Word on the street is that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson only pretended to rekindle their romance because the Butterscotch Stallion wasn’t up to doing press junkets for his new comedy Drillbit Taylor.

Wilson couldn’t do any publicity for “Drillbit,” thanks to his recent, well-publicized reported suicide attempt, so something had to take the place of junket interviews and trading smarmy quips with David Letterman. A briefly revived romance rumor, along with “exclusive” pictures and breathless observations on movie blogs, must have seemed like a good idea.

It didn’t work. Sadly the comedy from the Judd Apatow gang only grossed $10 million it’s opening weekend even though it was in the widest release possible; more than 3,000 theaters.

It’s true that three men were arrested near Kate Hudon’s NY City home, but it’s not as nafarious as it sounds.  A neighbor of Kate’s called 911 “after seeing what she thought were men on (Hudson’s) roof with a rifle’.

When the police arrived they found three men running amok on nearby rooftops carring a toy rifle. They were also carrying a script with them and turned out to be film students. Let this be a lesson to all you rogue film students out there. There is always a nosy neighbor looking out the window.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are SO back on! The couple has been seen hanging out together in Miami on several different occasions over the past week including a dinner at the Mandarin Oriental hotel with Jennifer Aniston and Eric Dane. Owen, Jennifer and Eric have all signed on to star in the move Marley & Me set to start filming in Miami any day now.

“Owen and Kate didn’t sit together, but it was obvious to everyone that she was only there because of him,” said one observer. They sat at a table with Jen and Eric and four other people and they were all overheard talking about the new movie. There was lots of laughter and everyone was in good spirits. “Kate looked amazing and Owen couldn’t keep his eyes off her all night.”

So this throws a rock in the theory that Kate Hudson is pregnant. Although if you loook closely you can see a bit of a pouch. It’s probably just muscle but we are gonna call it a pouch to make us all feel better.

It’s a shame because we were sure Kate was carrying the Butterscotch Stallion’s baby. Wouldn’t she make a pretty baby with Owen Wilson?
