The stress of playing King Henry VIII has been too much for Jonathan and has driven him to the drink.

“After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program,” rep Meredith O’Sullivan says. “He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.”

The 29 year old cutie pie also starred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s Match Point last year. You might also remember him from Vanity Fair or his very convincing role as Elvis in the 2005 tv movie. Nothing better than a young cutie playing a young cutie.
