Jessica Alba talked to Self magazine about the strange way she furnished her families home.

“I’ve bought 70 percent of my house off Craigslist! I’ve found so many things: couches, tables, lamps. I love the idea of recycling furniture and there being a history there,” she admits.

Before you get all skeeved out by the fact that she is buying furniture that other people ate, slept and had sex on, keep in mind she is probably buying gently used, quality goods. I hope.

Ashton Kutcher is a chameleon: “At political and Hollywood events, he’s serious and composed, but on-set, he’s a free spirit. I was one of the first people he ever punk’d: I was shopping with a friend and they closed down the store for ‘Danish royalty.’ And then some guy was walking around butt-naked trying on clothes. I was grossed out!”

The paparazzi: “They drive dangerously close when they’re following us and have caused a lot of almost-accidents. They curse, they’ve threatened people I’ve been with and they’ve called me every name under the sun and then taken a photo where I looked mad.”

Her body: “Pregnancy was the most incredible experience that I’ve ever had. So I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of.”

Jessica Alba has always said she won’t do nudity, but I guess getting your naked buttocks spanked by Casey Affleck doesn’t count for nudity in her book. This very NSFW clip of Jess getting a belt-whopping from her upcoming flick The Killer Inside Me hit the net Wednesday.

A crime drama about a Texas deputy sheriff is slowly unmasked as a psychotic killer – starring Jessica, Casey, Simon Baker, Kate Hudson and Bill Pullman. I’m surprised that Jess is getting top billing over Affleck. Although she’s a tabloid favorite, industry insiders call her a C-lister.

Here is a testament to how sucky it must be to have your body judged as part of your job. Jessica Alba came clean about the stress she was under to get back into shape ASAP after Honor was born in her recent interview with Elle magazine.

Grueling work outs…girdles 24/7…yeah..it’s so glamorous being a celebrity.

On snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth: “I did it for the Campari job. [The workouts] were horrible. I cried. And I haven’t worked out since.”

Her secret to looking slim after giving birth: “I wore a girdle. Eight weeks after my girlfriend had her baby, you could see her six-pack. She told me to put an elastic band around my waist – any kind of band or girdle works. She was like, “I slept in it.” I didn’t recover as fast as she did. I don’t have a six-pack – that’s just not my body at all.”

I know most people are going to hate Jessica Alba’s new shorter hair cut…but I think I’m kinda diggin’ it. It was starting to look a long, unruly mess.

Holy Cow! When did Jessica Alba lose all that baby weight? Everytime I’ve seen her since Honor was born she still looked puffy…but not now. Jess was photographed on vacation in Mexico with her family looking flat tummied and fabulous.

I know some of you are thinking, ‘Finally! Jessica Alba in bondage!” But don’t get too excited yet, it’s really a PSA. Jessica is so passionate about young people exercising their right to vote in this history making election year that she decided to use shock value to get young voters to the polls.

“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically,” says Alba. “People respond to things that are shocking. If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

So maybe this is not the sexiest reason for Jessica to be all tied up, but it is the best reason. Go Vote Kids!
