Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has broken his fool leg after falling 40 feet off a hotel balcony in France. Jesse was knocked unconscious, rushed to the hospital and then flown to London to be re-examined where doctors confirmed he broke his fibula.

The actor was in Monte Carlo to host the World Music Awards and slipped as he was headed back to his hotel to change clothes after a raging after-party.

The actor’s spokesman told The Sun last night: “Jesse knows he’s had a very lucky escape. The accident could have been fatal.”

Rehab is so in right now. Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has checked himself into a treatment facility after a four day drinking binge at LA’s Mondrian hotel. (The same place Britney shaved her legs at the pool and borrowed a strangers bikini.)

 A guest at the hotel reports that Jesse had been partying for four days straight and was mean to the hotel staff. There was also some talk of a scuffle with a door man at Skybar when he was denied entry.

Some say this is all a publicity stunt since rehab is Hollywood’s ‘new black’.
