Jeremy Piven May Replace Charlie Sheen’s On ‘Two and a Half Men’

I’ve read this on several different media site today. In addition to Rob Lowe and John Stamos, Warner Brothers is seriously considering Entourage star Jeremy Piven to replace Charlie Sheen.

The whole situation is such a mess and no one knows whats going to happen yet…but you can bet on two things:

1. Charlie Sheen is NOT getting his job back. He missed the window for the post-meltdown begging that could have saved his bi-winning ass and now he’s going to have to find another job.

2. Warner Brothers and CBS will continue to film Two and a Half Men for at least one more season with a replacement for Charlie.

3. The show will suck from this point forward.

I love me some Jon Cryer but he cannot carry the show. The kid is funny…but only for a minute. Maybe…just maybe…Rob Lowe could save it..but it’s doubtful. Jeremy Piven is only funny when he can cuss, “Hug it out bitch” is not something we are going to hear on CBS.

It’s going to be alot like when Charlie Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox on Spin City. The universe works in strange ways, non?

John Cusack and Jeremy Priven No Longer BFF’s

Jeremy Piven says his long time BFF John Cusack is jealous of his newfound success. Jeremy and John both studied at an acting school run by Jeremy’s folks and while John’s career took off when he was young, it wasn’t until recently that Jeremy got his big break as Ari on HBO’s Entourage. For the past few years Jeremy’s been playing second fiddle to John with supporting roles in John’s big movies, “Say Anything,” “Gross Pointe Blank,” and “Runaway Jury”. But Jeremy says now that he is the successful one, John is no where to be found. Or it could be that Jeremy’s ego is too big for John to get in the same room with him.
