Jennifer Hudson is looking great just seven months after giving birth to her first child. She’s battled critics about her weight ever since her American Idol days, so what’s the secret to her new fab body? Weight Watchers.

Jennifer  revealed she’s the new spokesperson for the company Thursday.

“With Weight Watchers, I am enjoying the weight loss because I’m doing it the right way–I feel empowered with what I’ve learned, everything from portion control to what foods will help keep me satisfied,” says the 28-year-old. “It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet.I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favorite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points,”

The Chicago Tribune has confirmed that the Jennifer Hudson pregnancy rumors are true.

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” singer/actress Felicia Fields, a longtime Hudson friend, said of Saturday’s get-together in a relative’s home. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”

Jen’s agent has denied the rumor…but they always do that, don’t they?

“It was a nice time that we had,” Fields said of the shower. She didn’t want to get into when the baby is due, but speculation is that Hudson is many months along—an impression bolstered by her appearance of late.

Rumors have been floating around for a few days that Jennifer Hudson might be expecting her first baby…Essence.com says she is most def knocked up but her people still deny the rumors.

While her manager and publicist deny the rumors, two sources close to the Oscar and Grammy winner confirm exclusively to ESSENCE.com that she is indeed expecting. This would be the first child for Hudson.

Hudson, who is currently receiving rave reviews while on tour with Robin Thicke, is engaged to David Otunga, a Harvard Law graduate and former contestant on “I Love New York 2.” The couple plans to marry sometime soon, but hasn’t confirmed a wedding date.

The Chicago police believe they have found the body of Julian King in an abandoned white SUV just 14 miles away from the original crime scene. Jennifer Hudson’s nephew has been missing since Friday when her mother and brother were shot to death in their home.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the 7-year-old and were looking for a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban. The Oscar-winning actress offered a $100,000 reward for his safe return.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has sent investigators to the scene in the 1300 block of South Kolin, where the boy was found around 8 a.m. today, an office spokesman said.

The mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson were found shot dead Friday at a South Side home, and police were seeking a missing child who is the nephew of the singer and Oscar-winning actress. “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson,” Hudson’s personal publicist, Lisa Kasteler, said in a statement. “No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
