I’m sure Jennifer Aniston is so glad that she’s chosen this week to rekindle her relationship with John Mayer.

Earlier this week he threatened to ‘forcefully sodomize’ a New York Magazine editor and gave just about the crabbiest, mean and ugly interview ever.

And while we all know the sodomy thing was just a figure of speech….it always makes you proud when the guy you are sleeping makes himself look like an ass.

All the big tabs are reporting today that Jen and John have remained close even after the public break-ups and now working on giving it another shot.

The duo recently spent a night together late last month at New York City’s Bowery Hotel. “Jen was there on the arm of John and they were all very lovey,” says an onlooker. “She was in casual clothing as was he, and she seemed very comfortable around his crowd of friends.”

It must really  suck to gain five pounds and have the entire world think you have a baby bump.

Every time Jennifer Aniston misses a workout and gets out of the zone she gets a teeny  stomach pooch – and the tabloids quickly point it out. She is probably just bloated from all the traveling/promotion of her newest crappy movie. Living in hotels, even posh ones, isn’t easy.

I can’t believe I’m defending the chin…but as a woman I find it heinous to pick out the one outward flaw on this chick, blow it up, call it a baby, and put it on the cover of your mag. No wonder she has such low self-esteem and runs off the wrong kinda guy all the time.

I missed Jennifer Aniston on The Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday. Apparently Ellen brings out the side of Jen that we actually like. She’s really a hit or miss interview.

I write this with sadness in my heart. Because I know before it can really be confirmed that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are actually in a relationship…he will have dumped her and moved on.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler were seen “hand in hand” this weekend at The Jane Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, a source tells PEOPLE. The two are currently filming The Bounty in New York City.

“Jen and Gerry went out on Saturday night,” says the source, who, noting that the cozy couple were surrounded by such others as Kirsten Dunst also said Aniston and Butler “had cocktails and … They were hand in hand.”

Jennifer Aniston may be turning into a Hollywood Old Maid, but at least she can laugh about it. At Friday night’s Women in Film Awards in Culver City, Calif., host Chelsea Handler presented the 40 year old actress with the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.

“You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that,” Handler said. “You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”

Jen kept the joke going when accepting her award.

“I have a strange parallel with movies I was doing and my life off screen. First, it was The Good Girl…which evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed,” she said, perhaps making a quip about her marriage with Brad Pitt, who left her for Angelina Jolie.

“Then there was The Breakup,” she continued. “Followed by the lighter side, Friends With Money. If anyone has a movie called Everlasting Love With an Adult Stable Man, that would be great!” Aniston joked. “I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”

Jennifer Aniston’s 14 hour work days finally caught up to her on the set of her new film, “The Baster“.

“She frantically yelled out, ‘I need a break!’ She said she felt dizzy and light-headed. She’s usually so calm,� says an on-set informant. “She rushed to her trailer to rest and collect herself, but she lost her balance and nearly keeled over. The collapse really shook Jen up. It was a wake-up call that she needs to slow down.�
