Every can breathe a big sigh of relief…Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy is going to be OK. Casey Aldridge was badly injured in a single car accident in Louisiana early Sunday morning when he flipped his F-250.

TMZ spoke to a close family member who confirmed that although Casey did suffer mild brain trauma, surgery was no required and he should be just fine.

The family member said Aldridge suffered a “skull fracture around his hairline” and will be kept at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for 2-3 days for observation.

Three other passengers were with Casey at the time of the accident. No word yet if alcohol was involved.

The tabs have been exploding with rumors this morning that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant with baby number two. I’m pretty sure the O.G. rumor started at the National Enquirer this morning, and they are not known for their stellar morals. It’s all fun and games to speculate the worst about the Spear’s sister, but it might just be time to give those girls a break.

You can only believe about 60% of what NE prints..besides, if this had been true it would’ve been immediately followed by the report that Lynne Spears had jumped off a 30 story building.

Us Magazine calls Jamie Lynn Spear’s decision to name her daughter Maddie Briann  “suprising”. They asked a baby expert and she said what you name your child reveals a lot about you. In Jamie’s case it says that she is a country girl that is clearly not ready to be a mother.

“Maddie is cute but nearly old fashioned at this point. Both Jamie and Maddie are 80’s style nicknames. Rather than mother and daughter, they sound like classmates. Co-captians on the cheerleading squad.”

Little Maddie’s middle name Briann is “a modern feminization for Brian, Irish for strong, Briann, Brian, Brianne and Brianna have been trending down over the past several years.”

To sum up;  Jamie has already turned her baby into a “girlfriend” and she lacks the creativity to give her kid a middle name that isn’t played out.

This is the most f-ed up story I’ve heard in a looong time. As school let out for the summer there were 17 girls at Gloucester High School pregnant. That’s more than four times the number of pregnancies the school had last year. While some folks in the small Catholic town blame hit movies like Juno and Knocked Up and the acceptance of Jamie Lynn Spears teen pregnancy, when the school board starting digging the strange truth came out.

All it took was a few simple questions before nearly half the expecting students, none older than 16, confessed to making a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together. Then the story got worse. “We found out one of the fathers is a 24-year-old homeless guy,” the principal says, shaking his head.

Mother’s hide your sons. There is a new Baby Girl Spears in the world. Jamie Lynn Spears welcomed  daughter Maddie Briana today at Mississippi Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi. Maddie weighed in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces.

That’s great. Now Sean and Jayden will have someone to split the therapy cost with.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ un-hip, un-Hollywood pregnancy continues with an un-hip, un-Hollywood baby shower in Kentwood over the weekend.

About 30 guests were invited – including big sis Britney – to Kentwood for a ladies-only, catered celebration for the 17-year-old at the family’s Serenity mansion. (Spears hadn’t been back to her hometown since her aunt’s funeral early last year.)

“Jamie Lynn opened every gift,” says a source, adding that mom Lynne and fiancé Casey Aldridge’s mother lent a hand. “We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old fashioned baby shower.”

After dinner Casey continue to pamper and spoil his love by taking her on a whirlwind shopping spree at Liberty, Mississippi’s lux retailer, Walmart.

Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated her 17th birthday with fiancé Casey Aldridge having dinner at Ruby Tuesday and shopping at Wal-Mart, a source says. “They both seemed really happy, both in really good moods,” the source tells PEOPLE of the couple’s outing near Aldridge’s home in Liberty, Miss. “Jamie Lynn had a big smile on her face.”

Casey Aldridge finally decides to make an honest woman out of 16 year-old girlfriend/baby mama, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Spears, 16, has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. “She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

The young couple will be bringing in the next generation of Spears-mess this summer. No word yet a wedding date for the kids.  Maybe as soon as Jamie gets her first big girl bra.
