James Brown passed away in an Atlanta hospital due to complications from pneumonia. Let’s all try to remember him as the bad ass ‘hardest working man in show business’ that gave us YEARS of amazing music that crossed racial lines, and not the crazy old gun waving – wife beating wierdo that led police on a ten mile chase in 1988 that ultimately ended with James doing two years in a South Carolina prison. So, yeah, just forget that last part.
