Apartment Building Where Heath Legder Died

Heath Ledger was found in this apartment building on Broome St. in Soho. The building currently has this unit available for rental at the reasonable rate of only $23,000 a month.

What????!!!!! The coroner should check to see if Heath also had a coronary as he was writing out his rent check. My God. We knew the cost of living was high in New York but that should be illegal!!!! Let’s hope he made other arrangements for Matilda’s inheritence

Heath Ledger Sick With Pneumonia At Time Of Death

According to Us Weekly, the Soho apartment that Heath Ledger was found in belongs to Mary-Kate Olsen. But according to TMZ it did not, but MK’s bodyguard was called in by the massage therapist that found his body. TMZ also reports that Heath was sick with pneumonia at the time of his death, and that his family claims this was an accidental death. Other sources say there were at least three bottles of pills near his bed, one of them an open bottle of sleeping pills. Heath’s close friends are already speaking out on the sad ending to this young actors life.

“This is terrible and I’m in shock, But to tell you the truth… we saw it coming. Heath has gone though a rough road of trying to get sober. Things were very dark. His one joy was Matilda. Everything else was misery for him. Unfortunately he was too late in getting help.”

Heath Ledger Found Dead in His Bed

Heath Ledger was found dead in his Soho pad today at 3:35pm. Law enforcement say he was found by his housekeeper and do not believe it was a crime. From TMZ….

The NY Times is reporting a masseuse arrived at his apartment and was let in the door by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. The police said they found pills near body.

Crew Member Dies On Set Of New Batman Movie

Fox News is reporting that a special effects tech was killed today in a crash on the set of the newest Batman movie, The Dark Knight. The victim died when a truck carrying a camera platform crashed into a tree while following a stunt vehicle. The accident happened during production, not filming so no actors were involved.

The Dark Knight is currently filming in London and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
